BELL 205 212 HUEY AND HUEY2 SCISSOR ISSUE

During servicing or greasing the Scissor, if grease comes out on the cap or covers it is not correct. Here in this video, you will see the issue and what can cause the problem. Make sure to follow the Bell Manual in order to correct the problem.

Ever experienced the bearing housing on the head side of that pivot bolt disbonding from the scissor? Problem we are having on several 212s right now.

Good afternoon Sir, this housing by OH book is a long process and sadly I have seen installed in the field without the process curing and installation procedure. I believe the key element is the cleaning of the old adhesive and prep of the area before proceed. The curing is very important per the Henkel Corporation ( hysol EA956 tdsna.henkel.com/americas/na/adhesives/hnauttds.nsf/web/6593E86B27A94FAB8525715C001BD45B/$File/Hysol_EA_956-EN.pdf#:~:text=Hysol%20EA%20956%20is%20a%20two-component%20adhesive%2C%20which,Temperature%20Cure%20Ideal%20for%20Repair%20Uncured%20Adhesive%20Properties ) As you can see the curing time if it not follows will takes about 5 to 6 days for normal performance. The only way to speed up the curing time is by heat as it is explained in the Bell 212 OH manual chapter 62 page 118 and 118A .
