Wooton a big loss for us and I think that probably lead to us just missing out on promotion but I'm happy with the signings we have made. I'm a Notts fan and although I would like Notts to be top, I agree that Stockport will win the league but as long as we're in the top three it won't matter.
I I disagree that Stockport will win the league but I do think they will get second my third place is Bradford fourth place MK Dons who gets first place my Club Notts County and you might be wondering where is Wrexham down by February
Wrexham fan here, come in peace after a great season but I completely disagree to be honest. You had a great year but can see a lot more clubs exploiting your high line and after losing arguably your best player in Rodrigues I don’t think Langstaff gets anywhere near the same service. Just think our style of football suits the league and even with one signing we haven’t lost anyone of significance and added a left footed cb who’s won the league before with cheltenham. Good season incoming either way
Nice to see a lot of the attention is away from Bradford this season and I think that will play into their hands. They are building momentum under Hughes and the 6th placed finish could so easily have been a top 3 if it wasn't for the last minute / injury time goals we conceded. We were only one of three clubs fighting it out for 3rd as we went into the final week - we had a game in hand and fluffed it! After a season of progress the core of a very strong team has been retained. Areas of weakness appear to have been strengthened. The midfield last season controlled possession but were very limited going forward. With McDonald and Alex Pattison we have added vision and more goals. Hopefully Jamie Walker stays fit and he will continue to be a threat also. Tyler Smith adds pace up top to stretch defences, something we didn't have last season. We also have the best keeper in the division imo and Harry Lewis will be key to saving / securing us a few points in those tight games. With the likes of Chapman, Smallwood, McDonald and Smith we have a lot of Championship quality and expereincen in the team. I fancy us this time around. But more than happy with the focus being on Wrexham, Stockport and Notts County.
Personally think wrexham top 3. I get the vid is made on predictions based on current squad, but wrexham no doubt will sign what they need in Jan if no next couple of weeks. Id gladly take top 7 for notts this season and keep building
Would take 4th as it stands, I think you have to remember we dont have to get 100+ points to get promoted this year so all those "scraped" games dont have to go for us ( or you) this season, just a fair share of them. You may struggle against better forwards against your high line ( and less blind linesmen), great to be back👍

Wrexham will have a high profile manager by Xmas and plenty of signings in the January window if they aren't top 10 at that stage. For me I'd love to see Notts top 3 but things will be tough and bare in mind this is Notts so we will do it the hard way via the slog of the play offs.
To be fair, the Wrexham game against Chelsea wasn't that bad, loosing 5:0 was to be expected but to simply hold your own against duch a force can be, when handled well, very valuable. the 4:0 win against LA after that was fine and much more of a promo stunt than the Chelsea game, also getting "only" 5 in from a team that, right after, put 4 in against Brighton... not all that bad.
Barrow will be nowhere near 21st, they’ve done some shrewd business and kept Whitfield, they train in Manchester so no issue getting players whatsoever. Sutton also will be comfortable, a very good manger who pulls rabbits out of a hat.
I like you guys, but your thoughts on Wrexham has left you short here. You are looking at thier roster and judging that. If Wrexham is not threatening you know they will just go out and get Championship caliber players…easily. No one else can out-sign them. I liked this podcast, nice job!

Gillingham. New owners in January and rejuvenated. Jonny Williams and Scott Malone with other additions makes a play off position likely.
