  • A short little film about a special river that's hidden in the woods. It's always been important to me and I've been obsessed with exploring it since I was in high school. It's called the Econlockhatchee River; located in central Florida.
The ending music is a cover of Re:Stacks by Bon Iver done by Nicolás Espinosa on UA-cam.

    Vegas Movie Studio Platinum
A flimsy tripod and two Gopher Tortoises
*For the people who might want to visit this river and hike the trails on it. Bring lots of water (it gets very hot in the summer) and be mindful of the gators, snakes, deer, and goblins.

I have had many great experiences paddling the Econ. Coming back to paddle it is almost like coming home .

Nice video, Thank You, I've only been on the Econ a couple of times, have yet to figure out how to fish it, but figure I'll unravel how to fish "moving" water after a few more times out.

What a heartfelt tribute to our neighborhood river. Where did you access the river for the making of your video? The state park?

A couple different places actually! Under the bridge on Snowhill Road, The Econ River Wilderness area on Old Lockwood, and Riverside Park! Years ago I used to go behind my neighborhood but it's far too overgrown to go back there these days
