Ben a fan since 90. So I missed those golden years. But I really think it's just a curse. Or we always draft fragile qbs. Never the bigger type qb like justin herbert, or josh allen type. But still I l9ve this franchise and my city.

As a lifelong fan I didn't care for the Bengals draft initially but it has definitely grown on me and was definitely a sneaky good draft. Can't wait

Lee needs more ballast in his butt. He should be in the weight and diet program. 10-12 lbs in the next 4-5 months is not out of the question.
I think the bengals had a great draft. My favorite germaine Burton. I think he has 1st round potential as well as Mims.what do you guys think?
Burton is a beast maybe the steal of the entire draft

My favorite picks: Mims, Erick All, and Jermaine Burton.
Burton was a STEAL ! So was Mims. Scouts questioned Mims because of lack of playing time...BUT...if you watched the tape of when he was ON the field...had he have played more there's no doubt in my mind that Mims would have been the 1st or maybe 2nd ( behind Joe Thomas ) O - Lineman drafted. The kid is HUGE and a FREAK athlete....Georgia had him pulling and leading sweeps a lot ! But what REALLY sold me on him...watch the tape of him against OSU in the college playoffs when he was a FRESHMAN ! He STONEWALLED J.T. Tuimoloau, one of the best DE's college football...in over 350 pass snaps Mims never allowed a sack OR pressure !
Burton was a steal as well. So called experts talked about his "lack of production" true, he only had 38 catches...but he averaged over 20 yards per catch and had 8 TD's while playing for a "Bama" team with an inconsistent QB..and also a team that didn't throw the ball nearly as much as they have in recent seasons. If Burton had a great QB and this draft didn't have SOOOOO many great WR's in it...he's definitely a First Rd. pick !
I think this pick has the potential to be a starting Center/OL for 10-12 years. Burton will be a stud, too!

Happy that they are letting draft picks play before possibly being starters. Letting Andrew Whitworth go when they did really hurt them.

The only thing that concerns me is why he was drafted so late, but from everything I’ve seen and heard from multiple sources this is a steal. Not to mention he can sit behind a stud like teddy for a year

The Bengals draft wasn’t sexy,but they got a lot of good football players in this years draft that fell right to them.

What if he could Play Center and/or Guard? Taking some reps from Volson? Especially for pass blocking.
Needs to add some weight to play guard
Teddy K has played a lot of left guard, while he was at New England just a thought if we need help for Volson,lee can play center
Better yet Karras plays Guard...I lobbied for this before the draft...if you can't get a OG that fits the bill...draft an OC and move Karras to Volson's spot. I'd definitely be giving this idea a look in camp.
Matt Lee may be light, but he has a history in competitive power lifting. Even if he is light, he has the strength to compete. I hope he can become at minimum a solid player. His tape shows an elite pass protector, and I believe he can make the transition to the NFL.
Lets hope Lee can move NFL nose guards in the run game and not get bullrushed im the passing game.
He's got to be better then Tre Hill out the gate.
Makes you question the Bengals eval a bit if they had him rated as a 5th rounder just to watch him slip to the end of the draft. Hope he's the steal they think he is.
