WOW!! Thanks for taking the time and dedication to share your adventures Kyle. I'm an avid fisherman but have never seen anything like that before...wish I could hit the like button a hundred times!!!
hey kyle great video bud, just what i needed to start my day, chasing monsters in shallow creeks and rivers is what i call an awesome time, keep up the good work buddy.bobber down!!!
Trip of a lifetime! I've been wanting to do this forever! Unfortunately, I've not been able to get it done yet. I'm not giving up though... Thanks for the awesome video!!
I feel like I always hear people tell me not to set the hook float fishing for salmon or steelhead. Yet Kyle sets that hook like he is on the deck of a bass boat and he easily has the best hook to land ratio of any salmon fisherman I have ever seen
@@AdventureChasing I don't normally take guided trips but I told my buddy I wanna get on the water with you next year just so I can meet you. You and Frey are the guys that give Michigan fishing hope for a better fishery and better reputation ❤️
I would love to go on a trip like this. I want to start making my own channel. My buddies on Fishbrain love my fish. And I always want to salmon fish in northern Michigan. Love your content!!
This is so awesome Kyle pure entertainment ! Your editing skills combined with your abilities as an angler make your channel so unique and fun to watch keep the videos coming I also had a question about your pin setup I am going up to Michigan from Ohio next week for a trip I had planned was wondering what leader you ran for the pin setup ? Aswell as have you ever had any success fishing flies under afloat for them? I will be fishing a fly only section so I won’t be able to bait w Skein thanks any pointers are appreciated !
Great flick. Diffently lots of horsepower goes along with them shoulders on them fish. I like how ya said it ( it's hit or miss fishing) people need to understand that. Lots of time on the water teaches ya ,that some days are better than others. Fish on
Always wanted to catch a salmon in Southern Michigan. Have family in St Joseph and caught steel head in the St. Joseph river. Never been there in later September early October when they run. Nice video.
@@bryanmallison3967 what river are you guys fishing i get you have your secret spots but what river is it i live in the bottom of that state and it isnt anywhere near as good as you guys have it up north
Another awesome video! You went by me on the Betsie Saturday morning. I was at the horseshoe bend by the yellow house. My buddy Zach’s family owns the property right there.
Another great video do u have a link for the center pine rod and reel and for the spinning reel u r using and what action is the spinning reel pole u r using with the spinning reel
Well I see one thing you could do! And that Is you got a small drift boat, hook up a rod holder And tow those plugs you lost in that log. You can fish every place towing a plug. I Garrentee this.
Are Michigan salmon (chinook/coho) easier to hook over there compared to the pnw? It seems like the systems over there are smaller but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re easier to hook up on. Genuinely curious.
Locating there is easier just in general when it comes to the rivers it seems, my question is how the overall bite is comparatively. Figured you would know. The methods here are just about the same.
Once they come into the river, they quit eating. I can't figure out how your catching them. Over the years we have tried everything. Most people we see catching them are snagging them.
They aren’t eating, they’re biting out of aggression. They won’t even bite if they’ve been in the river for a while or have had lines raked across them for days on end. But they do bite. Skein, thundersticks and spinners are what I have with me at all times.
Epic once again!! 👏👏
Thank you for putting us onto this guy!
Please please invite me to an Alaska trip I’m down 💯
Watched it when it was posted, watching it again I wish I could thumbs up again !
Good lord that fish at like 14 minutes is one of the cleanest kings I’ve seen that far up. Bolted straight through the ripping fest. Great video 🤘🏻

I seriously love catching kings off the wall in Manistee . Hasn’t been good in many years . .

Stuckum!!!!! I had a day as well this year. When the river starts going the other way. As a fellow Michigan man once said. Death from above.
Stuck um baby😁

Awesome video! Are you using the same line / leader combo on your centerpin that you run on your spinning setups for salmon?
Some nice fish 😀! And crazy Jared too!
Man that looks like fun. Enjoy.
Great video! I'm not too fond of mosquitos but can tolerate for fish, any worries about ticks? NY seems loaded with them.
Another awesome video and definitely hit it at the perfect time amazing
Thank you, Bob! Are you starting to get some chrome down there yet?

Thanks Bryan! That sure is a nice piece of property to own😁
Awesome video!! Once again Kyle! Fish on🤟
Thanks Justin man, glad you enjoyed it!
How cool is that? Very Cool!
awesome vid!
Now that is my kind of trip
great job still great color on them
Good show 👏
Really enjoyed your video. Was wondering what the brand of rain jacket you were wearing if you happen to see this. Thx in advance.

Thanks, Eric👍 We’ll keep them coming!
Hell yeah keep pumping em out 🐟🔥
Will do👊
I think some of those noises were Squatch noises love your videos keep it up
Alway love to see your vids🤙
Glad you enjoy them!!
Do the salmon die after they spawn ?
so Fun and incredible!!!
Glad you enjoyed it, Lori🙂
What size line were you using Kyle? And was it braid or mono? Thanks for the awesome video 😄
Glad you enjoyed the video! I use 40lb power pro mainline and 20lb seaguar red label fluorocarbon leader👍
Quick center pin question instead of buying a center pin rod could I use a spinning rod instead?
Absolutely👍 a 10’6 Raven helix medium/heavy salmon spinning rod is perfect!
Well I see one thing you could do! And that Is you got a small drift boat, hook up a rod holder And tow those plugs you lost in that log. You can fish every place towing a plug. I Garrentee this.
I do that will my clients for steelhead a lot and fish flat fish for kings like that in high water, I’ll keep that in mind for a video👍
what line are you using

Fun video! Have you considered a hammock tent so you won't have to worry about finding dry ground?
Or cot tent.
@@darkspruce Gotta save space for the fishing gear!😉👍👍
Thank you, Bob! That’s a good idea and I’ve been meaning to get one for a while. Just haven’t pulled the trigger yet😁
Epic!!!!😮
Nice how much did they weigh
Do these kings spawn successfully? I want to know what you think?
What mainline are you running
Will those salmon spawn and die? Hiw many tears is the life cycle if the do.
What power rod are you using for that float rod?
Would salmon bite a bead this time of year?
What about to check Armreel centerpin
Dude. I fucking LOVE the enthusiasm lol great vids keep it up
What possibly comes after that float?
Nice
It is my viewing experience that the longer the videos the better just like "addicted" and Jordan's latest latest video.
We’ll keep them coming!
What river are you fishing here?
How come you're not keeping any to eat?
What hooks and size
Which river ???
Flossing
Those blood sucking bugs got ya pretty good I see lol nice catches on the fish great content thanks for sharing
They got me good🤣
As Michiganders its always a good idea not to say where you are fishing isolated stretches of stream/rivers. Keep it secret, keep it safe
I am gonna have to come do that with you. What is your guide service number or website? I have KING FEVER
What river
Once they come into the river, they quit eating. I can't figure out how your catching them. Over the years we have tried everything. Most people we see catching them are snagging them.
Not true at all. hooked 30+ fish this passed weekend and landed 3 monsters. All eating bags like crazy.
They aren’t eating, they’re biting out of aggression. They won’t even bite if they’ve been in the river for a while or have had lines raked across them for days on end. But they do bite. Skein, thundersticks and spinners are what I have with me at all times.
22:39 that's what she said
You still in the mitten
Hello friend, greetings from Chile, I have a doubt what is the theory that Salmon bite the eggs, here we only fish them with Spoons
The egg bite is a territorial aggression bite.
Why don't you ever say what river your on. Top secret? Or what
