I’ve no-tilled corn only on a 10 acre HEL field. No strip-till, no row cleaners, most even emergence I’ve ever had, it was a little bit lighter soil. I’ve only done it a couple times though. Conditions were ideal those times, not on the , well…. We could but should we ground. Yield was great on that little chunk. Came out of the ground faster than our conventional tilled fields.

Excellent! Happy to hear that! :) Love to hear stories from others and different operations! Hope your crops are doing great! It’s so interesting to me knowing how much the ground changes, and what works or doesn’t work for others! That’s great you had fast emergence with it! Thanks for watching! :)

I am in west central MN. We finally finished planting on June 14. It has been a long drug out planting season because of all the rain delays. There are still a lot of fields here that have not been planted & probably won't be now. One guy in the area has a couple of thousand acres left unplanted.

Happy to hear from a Minnesotan! :) That is totally relatable across the state right now! Thats wild it’s so spread out! I drove through southern MN/Iowa last week and I saw a lot of water standing in the fields yet! Happy to hear you finished planting! Such a rough bummer for the ones not able to get the crop in due to the rain amounts this year! Hope your crops get some sunshine soon! :)

@@farmingwithkels5264 After seeing the flooding in southern MN & Iowa I guess I better not complain about the water issues here. They are nothing compared to what those people are having to endure. Hope your crops are doing well.

Oh, no irrigation needed😬 What I ask me when I see your nice videos. If you not filming, what’s corn planting music playlist is with you in the Case tractor? When I imaging my planting on the etire acres it sounds in my ears with “White horse“ (Chris stapleton) or “Glory day“ (Gabby Barrett) or something like this. No mud and that musik in the sunset would give a nice day. Have great day Kelsey😊 Regards, Martin🚜🎶

damp earth is a plague for some instruments.
Where I come from, we work the fields with the plow or with the subsoiler to avoid having these problems even if lately diesel costs more.
