      Don't bother, expensive products will weigh your hair down and make it more oily, drugstore brands are for the most part the best in general, having tried so many more expensive options over the years i ended up switching to the 2 dollar bottle of Sunsilk, my hair looks and feels amazing with it, it's the same with skincare, my skin does the best with ultra simple stuff, i just wash my face with simple Nivea body wash now, I've been trying just about some of the highest end stuff you can find in general, ZO and Dermologica to name a few.

    • @BlowoutProfessor
      @BlowoutProfessor  2 роки тому +2

      Hey Bahar! Dry scalp can be tricky. Sometimes it's a product issue and other times it's a skin condition where it's best to see a dermatologist. If it's a product issue she should use a sulfate free shampoo like Moroccanoil moisture repair. And if she has coarse hair she should make sure to wait until she has excess oil built up before washing. Sometimes it can take up to 5 days for that to happen 👍

    • @BlowoutProfessor
      @BlowoutProfessor  2 роки тому +9

      Hey Eithan! I would only use professional shampoo if you have hair that's at least neck-length. Professional products are to keep hair healthy that's going to be on your head for a long time. If your hair is short it's going to be cut off before you need to worry about it's health. with that being said it depends on your hair type. • @tiffariff
      @tiffariff Рік тому

      Also, since he didn’t give recommendation - it’s not the best fix- but I find putting my hair into a tight twist bun really helps. The twist makes it water tight so my ends stay clean this way- instead of brushing along my sweaty neck/back. However, this just contributes even more to my roots getting oily faster than my ends. So dry shampoo is needed. I’ll also hop into the shower to rinse of my skin, while my hair is in the bun- if my hair gets wet it’s okay- since the bun is pretty water tight, and i actually purposely get the front roots around my face wet since it helps them rinse off a bit- and that part is what really shows the oil when I style my hair.

    • @BlowoutProfessor
      @BlowoutProfessor  2 роки тому +5

      Hey Shannon! We notice hair come out when in the shower because that's when we wash it... But even cheap shampoos and conditioners don't cause hair loss. If you're all of a sudden noticing much more hair falling out it's usually due to stress, changes in hormones (pregnancy/menopause/birth control), medication or it could be hereditary. But usually young people can narrow down what is causing it from that list and fix it 👍
