This brings back memories of being a kid during the time acid house reached the UK. Getting mix tapes off my older brother, taking them into school and getting everybody to continuously shout aciiiiiid just to annoy the teachers. I used to love acid house, always listening to pirate radio, dreaming about the day I'd actually be old enough to go to a rave.
I,m 54. This is the only music that would get me away from my cocoa and back to a nightclub!
For me this and happy hardcore.

3 deck mixing and scratching. I’m a old skool DJ but, Faydz is incredible. Good set but execution second to none (if you didn’t learn on technics you can’t do it like this) no need for bpm counters. Hope one day I can catch you playing. Legendary mixing and another great set.

Acid house was the best by far it was new and we just happened to be there 🤯🤯🤯 fucking hell what a ride still grinning now. I'm just glad I was there 🤗😀 there will never be any thing like that again the music best thing that happened then country was on a downer. Then they the government fucked it. And i would do it all over again with a drop of a hat.

Great tracks - some Of these I use to own back in the day. Lol - I remember those newsreel clips - just reminds me how provocative and 'out there' this scene was to the general public -and also - pause for thought here - 'Acid house' was also generally dissed by the media - newspapers, tv and especially radio, which refused to play the music (too subversive somehow?) - they refered to it as "Sh_t House Music"back in the late '80s.
They had no controll of it, so they destroyed it and re-packaged And now Radio1 thinks they invented it... They stole it from us and the Underground

For me personally, I hate all the ‘Scratching’ in this mix it kinda ruins the whole vibe for me , ‘scratching’ to me belongs in Hip Hop not Acid House, but other than that a blinding mix 😎👍
