- To go from one golf ball that is worthy of the Titleist script to one million, you need to have a highly skilled team in place and the manufacturing process mastered.
For over 80 years, Titleist golf balls have been manufactured in the greater New Bedford, Massachusetts area. During these eight decades, Titleist has been the design and process technology leader manufacturing golf balls with a wide range of constructions to meet golfers' varying performance needs.
A belief that a better process will result in a better quality and performance product has been constant throughout Titleist's history. An unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and performance and quality excellence are core values of the Titleist tradition.
In the 80+ years since the first Titleist golf ball was produced, the Titleist Operations team has grown to more than 1,100 associates with an average tenure of 20 years and over 20,000 years of collective experience.
These associates manufacture every Titleist golf ball to exacting standards in Titleist owned and operated facilities - there are about 90 process and product quality checks for Pro V1; about 120 for the dual-core Pro V1x - assuring that every golf ball performs consistently for every golfer, every round and on every type of shot.

All this work that goes into this ball...so I can shank it into the woods on my first drive.
Remember fellow golfers, Titleist ‘Owns’ everything 😂
90 - 120 tests are donne just for me completely smacking it into the woods
How can a company maintain number one for their top selling model and be so mediocre for the rest of their golf brand? Titleist needs more colors, more designs and better marketing on their second third and fourth tier balls. They are missing out on a HUGE market. And the AVX should be renamed to include Pro V .. The Pro V A ? Pro V2 ? It would quadruple sales. Call it an elite armature ball ? Something should change. Titleist needs some spice.
All this R&D and money. And it still can’t float.
what is the difference between a 1952 golf ball and a 2007 ; groove numeric
so weird how it has to go through all those computers and at the end we touch see for imperfections
