I have been playing 53 years , and when i was a kid i used to play the drums on my Moms Pots and Pans and use the Lid Covers as Cymbals , whats pretty bad about it is that my mom had to go out and re buy all new pots and pans as i used to destroy them, so finally she gave in and on my birthday she bought me a brand new Metallic Red Steward drum kit. back in the 1972 they were not cheap $1000 just for a 4pc kit back then. I be 59 on Jan 25th.👍
I Live in an Apartment Building and am using half of my Livingroom as a mini Studio so I turned them into a 2 in 1 kit they're Acoustic / Electronic , So electronic for indoors and Acoustic for outdoors i removed the all of the 3 bottom heads and went with Pearl Mesh heads with Electronic Triggers and then i got another 14'' Pearl Mesh head for the Snare , then bought an old Snare for the Mesh head , and bought a Electronic Roland V-Drum Module that you can use the 1/4 Inch Cords as they're Single Tone Triggers, over on Amazon for the Triggers 5 pack for $125 Canadian Dollars , and picked up these really cool 70% Lo Volume Mesh Cymbals also 5pack for $135.00 you can get them in 4 different Colors to choose from, I got the Stainless Steel Silver they're a perfect match for my Chrome Silver Drum rings. you can checkout my kit on my UA-cam Channel NewfieXbox66 I play Classic-Rock-Tributes full Albums my kit is all lit-up in Blue LED Lighting
