Hi, thanks for commenting! Not really, the most dangerous area is the center of Abruzzo, the more you go east the less the risk. Earthquakes can still happen but not over 5 magnitude If I'm not wrong. If you Google it you will see there wasn't a single catastrophic earthquake in Penne or sourrunding areas. Feel free to send me an email so I can send you some links. I did do extensive research in the past as I'm originally from Bussi sul Tirino which is more incline to suffer stronger earthquakes.
