Loved the video. As a Texan I will say this, while the state of Texas does allow Constitutional carry and open carry, they also allow private businesses to not allow people to carry in one capacity, or another. So if you're carrying and walk into a business, these are the signs to look for: First is the 30.05 sign. This one prohibits unlicensed carry(open, or concealed). Therefore you must be licensed to carry in those establishments. Second is the 30.06 sign. This prohibits licensed concealed carry. So you could still open carry is those establishments. Third is the 30.07 sign. This prohibits licensed open carry. So you can only conceal carry in those establishments. Also businesses can opt to post all 3 signs, which basically bans carrying altogether in their establishment. So just some things to look out for.
Thank you so much my friend that is awesome information and I am really happy you like the video I will definitely keep my eyes open for those signs when I get there and I will also get my carry permit in Texas since I already have it in Florida I think it’s a safer option. Thank you so much for your support of the channel.👍🏻🇺🇸
They really are great leather holster, you won’t be disappointed. I inquired about a holster because I had installed the Crimson Green Laserguard on my Smith and Wesson M&P 40 Full size. The holster needs to be stretched and molded to form around the pistol. So don’t plan to use it right away. The support agent gave me some good tips on the process, wrapping it with a plastic bag which does work and you have to let it sit to allow it to adapt to the pistol. However, I had the slide not close into battery, kept sticking on something. Sounds weird but I tore off the flaps of a pizza box and with the gun in the plastic place the flaps around the slide and pushed it back into the holster, which allowed more stretching. Take your time and it works to make the pistol snug, fitting to your pistol and you have one fine looking holster at one of the more reasonable prices out there for leather.
Dang Lionel I needed this video. I’m in CA so I have to go IWB for the most part ( Crossbreed works very well ), but have been wanting a nice OWB leather holster for my 1911’s and Sig P220 to wear on the ranch and out in the country. You the man thanks Lionel !
That is awesome my friend you should definitely give them a try you will definitely not regret it especially at the price. Thank you for your amazing support
Great vid today Lionel! I loved that you changed it up and did these cool holsters! I just happen to buy one for my P365 Sig but I think I’ll be getting one of those cool shirts! I also have my first pair of Rios of Mercedes boots coming this Friday and super pumped to get them. Keep up the content man I really enjoy your channel.
I own a 1791 belt, a looped pancake holster and dual mag carrier. My last was their paddle holster for those grab and go situations. Like them all but I _love_ the paddle holster. It's the most comfortable, fast on and off and secure paddle holster I've ever had. On the break in part, wrap your weapon in the bag then shove it into the holster for 48-72 hours. Then you have a perfect fit that gets faster every cycle.
Thanks brother. I actually use revolvers as a side arm when I’m out hunting but like the pistol’s for the most parts but definitely don’t mind carrying my revolver every once in a while.
Man ,you nailed this video. Been looking at their stuff for a while. Since it came out pretty much. You in Texas yet?hope things are going your way where ever you are. You went over & checked out the place. Would not mind asking you something if you have time. You seem like you know a little something about some leather. It’s hard going by pictures online .
Great video! I like being able to see several products like this, so - great job with that. Bonus: I'm looking for my first leather holster (been using Kydex) - specifically an OWB for my S&W Performance Center Shield. Subscribed to your channel. Nice hat, BTW!
I have one of these for my 1911s. I didn’t realize they weren’t made in USA (but neither is my Falco). Its ok, i wish they offered a strap, preferably snaps on both end so it could be removed completely. I do not trust riding my Motorcycle with it without a strap. That said, the draw is clean and comfortable for everyday carry and range time.
Yes sir I’m in Florida too. I have to use Kydex for concealment, and during the winter, I like to use these with actual layers of clothes to carry bigger guns like my 1911 or my revolver, but moving to Texas I won’t have any problem using these more often
I just ordered a optics ready holster for my SIG P365 XMACRO TACOPS from this company in the “vintage” finish. I love how that vintage finish looks. These holsters look great! How’s yours holding up so far?
That’s Awsome I’m sure your gonna love that holster and to answer your question mine is holding up great and the belt’s are as well. Thanks for supporting the channel.
Have been eyeballing the 1791 owb sig 1911 4.2 no rail 45 acp. Have a leather holster from a good leather maker. Holster is 12 years old. Always left to streaks upper the line in the left and right slide. Did this on several 1911’s. This 1791 caught my eye. How well does this holster strive to minimize holster wear ?
there lots of great leather Craftsman making holsters in Texas. one i really like is Tuckers leather holsters i have a revolver holster from them that is just great. had a hard time finding a leather revolver holster i liked until i found them. all their holsters are great along with their belts. Bullard leather also makes great leather holsters and belts. i have 3 of his 1911 i use for full size steel frame pistols and his belts. these are all hand made and you have to wait a few months but is worth it. plus with the waiting time it tells you a whole lot of people want holsters from both these guys. andrews leather out of FL. is who i purchased my shoulder holster rig with 3 mag carrier. his you dont need to hook holster and mag carrier to your belt to keep them from moving around he uses a leather strap connected to both mag carrier and Holster it is very comfortable and handles the full size wt. of steel 1911 ver well. andrews leather al are also hand made he has youtube vids you can watch. he makes lots of holsters for movies in hollywood. for me i use nothing but leather for my holsters the makers here their holsters will last you a life time aswell as your grandkids
Need some boots too. Maybe you can point me in the right direction w a good pair for a good value. I ll spend on quality but want a good fair price. You understand. Saving this. Over & out for real.
Great video. What model was that for your 1911? The video showed the extended leather on the inside next to the body, keeping the thumb safety from rubbing on your side. The "1791" website does not depict that feature. Thanks.
It’s my pleasure and thank you for the kind compliment. I am not sure exactly the model number or name but just to be sure I would call 1791 gun leather and ask them which holster do I have in the video for the 1911, they will definitely got you the right way
I don’t actually live in Miami I live just north of it and yes sir we have cowboys living in south Florida it’s definitely not known for that but we have plenty of rodeos and west we have ranches and farms. Thanks for the support
Dude no disrespect but if the weapon is loaded and you blow your hand off....pretty sure we wouldn't be watching. And frankly if you shoot the camera who cares. .....just my two cents from the bleacher seats.
Well you might not care but UA-cam does and if a Karen watches the video and decides to report to UA-cam that I didn’t clear the firearm on video well I might just loose my channel and im not taking that chance because you don’t want me to clear my firearm, but thanks for your concern.
Well sir, I have never gotten paid for any reviews on my channel. I did however, get to keep the holsters and belts. Given to me for 1791 gun leather and I wouldn’t recommend if I didn’t think it was good quality. I still use all of their holster on a daily basis and several days their belt. I still stand by the value and quality by 1791 gun leather. It is hard to beat. I do have several products on my channel that I reviewed and gave bad reviews. Enjoy the channel and have a blessed day.
Well I have been given other products for review that I’ve given bad reviews on because they weren’t good. If it was a bad holster i would give it a bad review, but it’s a real solid product so I can’t give it a bad review to make you happy.

Great review. I was just looking at the 1791 web site this morning. Awesome company. Subbed.

Just received my 1791 holster today for my Ruger SP101 .357, so far I'm loving it, and will definitely be looking into one for my 1911
Ordered mine from Amazon yesterday for my Kimber 1911. Looking forward to carrying my 1911 comfortability.
Well, you’re gonna love. It’s a great holster.
Bought one for my PDP F-Series 3.5 Glad to see that forward cant.
Nicely done as usual, Lionel. I would have figured you for a wheelgun man!
Thanks brother.
I actually use revolvers as a side arm when I’m out hunting but like the pistol’s for the most parts but definitely don’t mind carrying my revolver every once in a while.
Love 1791 holsters but for belts I prefer Hanks Belts

They are great belts, very thick and durable.

Do you prefer falco or 1791 holsters
1911 is supremely concealable IWB
Good review thanx, I was on the fence on buying one...👍
Thank you sir.
They are really excellent for the money.
Can’t go wrong.
Thanks for watching.
You said bang for your buck😂 pretty good review

I'm in Florida also I have 2 of the leather holsters for my 1911 and s&w 686+ beautiful leather . I mostly use kydex holsters for my concealment

Well I’ll tell you I’ve used this holster quite a bit and so far I have not seen any holster wear. It does pretty good job.
Excellent video! You should do more firearm material! New follower here.
Most definitely I plan to I just need to work it in to my content.

I’m at 4:34 in the video. Think those are your guns.?. They are nice either way. The OWB black one in upper right looks dialed in about just right.
Great show 👏 👍
Thank you sir

Thanks for the support
Not interested if not made in the USA. Stopped video after that
