I have some doubt regarding scorpion bite
1. If patient has no sympathetic and parasympathetic symptoms..only pain on bite site..should we give prazosin?
2. Regarding pediatric age group.. same treatment should follow?

Hello Respected Sir...
One resident have told that there is first Sympathetic stimulation occurs soon after sting bite and occurs Tachycardia,Hypertension, firstly...
But in API textbook of medicine 12th edition page no.2089,2090 it says that first parasympathetic stimulation occurs first causing bradicardia,hypotention,miosis and all....
Pls clear my confusion about what happens first Sympathetic stimulation or parasympathetic stimulation?
