I just got my first alpine its a INE-z928HD.Replaced a pioneer AVH-BT 150 and the difference is night and day!! Made a huge impact on my whole system!! Could not believe how much of a difference it made!!
I never heard of boss stereo that seems weird to me but JVC Kenwood Alpine Pioneer Sony is All great brands I just bought a Pioneer myself I love it and it's a double den with CD player and android auto and backup camera
I bought the JVC and it is garbage. Glitches with volume randomly going full blast with voice responses, screen locks up, controls randomly quit working, and resolution is poor, screen mirror is the same size screen as phone nonadjustable and about half the quality.
The double din is dead. It's all about the floating screen display. And that is going to be short lived, as I've seen the new Toyota Land Cruiser with futuristic built in screen wrapped in the dash. It blew me away!

Facts, i'm currently looking for a double din for my toyota MR2. Still haven't figured out which is best yet so they ain't dead at all. @@dobs78
