I used a bowl drew a light outline and carefully painted in the rest worked great
Just use something thats round, first outline it and then paint it

This turned out awesome! As a GCSE art student, I’ve tried many different medias and techniques in my artwork. However, I haven’t come to doing a complete acrylic piece until now. Considering this was my first time, I think it turned out to be pretty amazing. I may have a bit of experience, since I work with diluted watercolour paints quite a lot, but I reckon that this awesome tutorial could help almost anyone. Experienced or not. Thankyou! ^-^

I spent a long time staring and I feel like the body of water is right under the trees and the mountain range is too far in the background to cause a reflection

It was good 😊 but you needed to add the reflection of mountain's
I think the mountains are too far in the background to have a reflection. What I see is that the trees are right near the water - that’s why they have a reflection.
