Leave immediately Uber and Lyft.
Fare rideshare coop is coming to LA where Uber steals 55-70% of ride fares. They don’t have surges, give passengers affordable prices and drivers keep 90% of the fare. This co-op model will distinguish any need for Uber/Lyft in any market. And they are scared shitless.
They don't have surges, which is one flaw with their pricing model. Drivers should get paid more for more stressful situations. Surge pricing and pay can apply for after Friday night bar night, after concerts, driving in bad weather, and other situations.
Uber and lyft are despise by drivers and passengers they should leave now

They set the driver pay. It doesn't automatically mean that driver pay will be fair. I would have to see actual pay examples to see if it is fair.
Percents mean nothing. Like they say drivers get 95% of the fare. But, if the fare is low, then 95% isn't as much money. Actual pay, not percentage, is what matters.
95% of the fair after the - insurance fee -handling fee. , etc …..
5% margin sounds a little to thin to me

Well, once upon a time 1600 cab drivers were replaced by 12,000 "gig workers." They ruined the market, and hopefully their personal cars
Taxi companies ruined their own market. I've had multiple cab companies to be no shows. Only used a cab a few times. Couldn't depend on them.
@@catamountmplsthe taxi monopoly is going to return and it’s NOT going to be cheap! They are about to find out why taxi companies couldn’t compete with Lyft and Uber. I’ve taken a taxi and Uber from a certain location to the airport, the price for the taxi was more expensive
Right , its double or triple, because they actually have real overhead VS letting someone blow up their personal car
So the RIDERs will march in the streets for Uber & Lyft to return….it’s politics now , again for the rides , do not be surprised if state & federal start subsidizing Uber
