Only one reason: very very poor service given by their dealers. No original spares was not available in open market. So we have to driven our Honda to the dealers only. But they are not giving good service. Example in our south city in south India
Honda is not upto good quality in India. Also, car interiors are not attractive like Hyundai. Diesel cars stopped by them now in India is an biggest mistake. No one likes amaze looks and driving comfort.......

Fall of honda stemped to its greedy over monopolizing it's car service and spares. Honda never let the spares available in automobile supply stores. In the peak period, Honda went to extend taking action against dealers selling spares intended for Honda cars. Same time Honda's maintained their cars internals unserviceable by third-party mechanics. Because of this, honda car owners have no other chance but to pay the bill whatever the dealer charge with the top oh tax for service. I really doubt whether Honda will survive in India, soon we may have to say goodbye to Honda in near future, my statement may sound hard but that's the reality because honda still on the same path , elevate's spare is not available anywhere outside the honda service, and no mechanic and garage is willing to enthusiastically work with honda cars even these days. Some may will to work with honda cars, but not fully involved like they do for cars from other manufacturers.
