Now this is the 106 in park I grew up on in loved.
dee _ free so gd fine
St8 up u ain’t lying I’ll be dammed if I missed 106 n park back then
Rap city tha basement and 106 and park were the best shows that u couldn't get tired of back then. Better than the stuff we have now on bet
Before social media, maaaaan these were the days. Jin on freestyle fridays and all acess!! The early-2000s was the last era of authenticity ✌️
My favorites where Jin and Postaboy. Those were good times
@@NickCTaylor Yup! That whole era 2000-2004 untouchable!
CaapriceTube yeah MySpace days were the shits too🔥💯
there use to be a big guy that was the champ for a while on freestyle Friday. I can't remember his name.
Those were great times but it was the furthest thing from authentic lol
I can watch DMX videos and interviews each and every day because he was the illest of them all.
May he continue to rest in paradise.
I’m addicted
After 2Pac, this is the truest rapper in hip hop history.
@@Mom4EverLivesOn yeah you're not understanding dude
@@Mom4EverLivesOn Maybe in this era of so called Rap. He wouldnt make it in the 90s or early 2000s. Crazy to even try to insert his name with 2Pac and DMX.
Tupac is nowhere neaf the "truest" rapper. He faked alot of it. Nip is the truth. Dmx is the truth. Snoop is the truth.
Queen Leo nip was laid back why would u compare him to pac ? more like snoop
yup he was true to that crack but he clean now
When people say Jay Z and Nas two ordinary characters, this man DMX has such strong aura like 2Pac simply shines differently!!!!!!!
Facts
Id take 2pac and DMX over Nas and Jay z any day
Jay-Z is not Nas
@@onyxtytanium964 jay z and Nas > dmx and pac
@@lawrenceperkins549 jay z is jay z why would he be nas ?
Ppl thought Prince was crazy when he wrote Slave on his face many years ago.. he was trying to tell yall
*FACTSSSSSSSSS*
Call me Caitlyn at that time record labels owned all distribution they still do actually but with today social Media it’s easier to put out music UA-cam fb IG etc. where back then if u didn’t have a record deal there was no way to release a record studio were very expensive not like today ppl build their own studios or release any videos back then a video can cost u a couple thousand where like today u get a camera u pretty much good & especially in hip hop back then hip hop was always boycotted
@Call me Caitlyn Now question is, since alot of music and stuff is more easily done online compared to then... how long will it be before people resort to "signing the paperwork" to get ahead?...
and to this day they still don't get it. smh
TLC kept it real also!
Man I miss the early 2000s. So much more substance and black pride.
Yesss
Everything is superficial now
Your not the only one
because these weirdo black millenials keep inviting whites to infiltrate our culture trying to be "inclusive"
ChieftainHawke fr
X and Pac real dudes. RIP legends.
Miss both artists as well as MJ and Prince.
Pac was gay. Far from keeping it real
@@jayizzett 👎🖕
@@jayizzett What was I get around than😕
@MKM u r pathetic
DMX energy level is insane (he's not acting, that's just him) and I love it!
its called crack and cocain
DMX just died yesterday on April 9th, 2021 at the age of 50, and this 2003 interview brings back memories of him from BET's 106 and park.
Man i wish this dude was still making movies tho. DmX was a good actor.
DMX is the Allen Iverson of hip hop.
Good comparison very underrated people.
True bro
You mean the Jordan bro
@@actafadul That's Rakim or Nas on that level.
@@Thespeedrap any rapper that raised the bar is on that level..but you right on mentioning those two greats
DMX too real for the folks in the industry
This man has always been the truth that’s why they only talk about his drugs use
He's so handsome honestly and his style is so fly. He has a signature taste for clothes that end up fitting him perfectly and accentuating his style.
He was swaggalicious. I can't get with the skinny jeans dudes wear today.
Dmx kept it real. He right
Always
X was not lying about the industry. Modern day slavery👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Rip x. You with the most high. No more suffering 🙌🏾🙏🏽
Word
Take a shot anytime he says “you know what am saying?🤣 RIP dawg 🙏🏾❤️
Cradle 2 the Grave had some bangers on the soundtrack. Him and Eminem’s track was hard
DMX collaboration with Bazaar Royale, Big Stan and Kashmir. Clipse, Foxy Brown featuring Althea, Baby a.k.a. #1 Stunna, 50 Cent & The G-Unit, Drag-on, Bazaar Royale and more
My college days. Damnnnn, the fashion game back then was sweet. Enyce, Akademiks, Iceberg, Sean John, Mitchell & Ness, Rocawear, Phat Farm, too many to name.
Man,I did not even have enough money to buy half of these brand names you just dropped but you are VERY right...the fashion game back then was nice...and the music was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.
What’s the brand X is wearing, like his army fatigues.
It's a shame 90s fashion came back in style and these brands wasn't in the fore front
Them bangies clothes,
This young man l love his music and he is great in movies.
Walt Dizney what does that have to do with anything? 50 isn’t old
THE ORIGINAL 106 CREW
His voice so powerful
I miss DMX like this...seeing him the way he is now is so sad...
gurdeep chahal this man a poet he raps about real shit not only that he spit bars and knowledge that real hip hop
Yeah, seeing him lose touch with reality and his relationship with his son, the drugs and everything...sad.
He's 30 on here What are you talking about ? He looks better how do you expect a 50 year old to look ?
Dmx been doing pretty good lately.
Hes alright at the moment he looks healthy, speech is solid looks totally different than a few years back.
What a loss he stood by who he was and was never fake.!
rest in peace DMX interview from 2003 i remember this day like yesterday
BET Retro app needs to be invented streaming only old school shows like 106 and Park, Planet Groove, Jam Zone, Midnight Love and Video Vibrations etc.
You should invent it or pitch it and don’t forget to include BET Uncut for the mature viewers 21 and up
Add Rap city in the basement, citas world, & hits from the streets
I’ve been saying for years! Please make all the old 106 and Park episodes available to watch on your platform(s) BET! Stuff like this is what had people (me) hooked to anything BET. Even make some of your 90s shows available. Planet Groove, Teen Summit, Rap City, All, and Comic View!
BET Plus is coming in Fall.
Especially the Performances on 106!!!
Agreed
