very good song vocals are very good, and the bass is even better I really liked this album I'm surprised that this song didn't get in the billboard 100 this song had so much potential if I was taken seriously, it could have had the recognition it deserved 7/10 very good very underrated no doubt

Overall this album isn’t nearly my favorite in the TFF and extended universe, but it’s not nearly as bad as Curt would make it out to be. This song is a good example of it, it’s got a nice poppy sound that I like with good drums, and the vocals here really match the era. While it might sound dated, I think it works in the songs favor and it sounds very smooth and lush overall, not unlike something you might hear on the Seeds of Love. I really like the melodic chorus and Curt does a good job with lyrics here. Overall, well done, and Curt proved that he could write a pretty catchy song even while out from under Roland’s shadow.

Not even close to Elemental. Roland proved much greater (but hey, he did the best he could!). Haha!!!!!........(all BS aside, they made great music together but fo' reels this ain't in no way f****ng with that Elemental album. That was a masterpiece. Indeed a timeless record......

One of the best voices in new wave to come out of the 80’s, I’d say up there with Jimmy Somerville from Bronski Beat in terms of range. Feel sorry for him, the way he got thrown under the rug by Roland in TFF.
Specially since Curt was the Founder of T.F.F, so he took off to L.A, and who ended up packing up and flying over there!? They reunited and are as good as ever.
We don't know their dynamic or how their relationship works. Saying he got thrown under the rug isn't exactly fair. He sang all the singles off their first album and Everybody Wants to Rule the World. Why doesn't he take lead more? Who knows? Roland is a better lead singer, so maybe they recognize that. Curt seems to sing ballads better, which is maybe why he sings Advice For the Young at Heart.
This is the sound I miss from Curt and Tears for Fears. The newer stuff just doesn't move me like this does 😢

Roland did fine without curt, curt failed without Roland. This album didnt even hit the charts. Besides, Roland had to deal with the debts of tff.
