I hate how everytime I watch one of these fights with moving heads the author hits it near everytime, yet when I try they just move their head back and hit me with thirty combos
I thought this boss was not going to have a no hit run because there is no way anyone can escape the thorn attacks and here you are! What a brilliant fight: the control, the patience, the knowledge of attacks, you are absolutely fantastic!!!
@@issi529 definitely not kidding, one of the highlights of the DLC for me. So tired of memorising delayed attacks it's nice to be able to just read a boss
@@IconOfSinthis one is a prime example of annoying delayed attacks though? Oversized and over-present hitboxes, and an oversized boss that’s nearly impossible to keep in your field of view. If the damn thing were just smaller it’d be fine, but I feel like I can’t even use the skillset this game requires for so many boss fights here. Just constant damage from outside my fov.
Bonk build. Kidding. Looks like he's max stats (or near to it considering all bars are long AF). Probably could run it easily with max soft cap str, running crag blade on offhand, Royal Knight resolve on main. Probably claw talisman for jump hit attacks. Max scadutree fragments.
Get to the church district by coming at shadow keep from the east. Explore around and drain the water, then go straight through the northmost church will lead you to this boss
people really blew it out of proportion. Its like every other fromsoft dlc basically. Starts off rough, get yer ass beat, find ways to get stronger or strategies, beat up bosses, GG. Same blueprint as always
@@brandonwoodhouse358 I think it's because Elden Ring is (dare I say) the most mainstream of FromSoft's games, and pretty much everyone is playing it including the casual audience. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but those gamers who have played the older titles knew exactly what to expect, but not so much the new players.

Press down on the right stick to target the base
This was absolutely my fav boss fight in the dlc
Fromsoft really cooked with the OSTs and this fight is so good, too
Lmao my hand randomly trying to press shift to dodge his attacks xD

Fantastic boss design, really fun to learn! GG!
You must be kidding right? Its literally one of the worst bosses ever created.

@@IconOfSin You can read other bosses as well but ok. Each his own. I hated this boss.

THIS BOSS patterns are really easy to learn - Great Design. 10/10 (Mage Int/Dex Moonlightveil build [lvl225+14/6 Upgrades] ~6-8 tries). 😉
This dude dodging game is so strong if it feels like he did make the mechanic
This helped, thank you!
WTF already NG7. DLC have just released 2 weeks ago, that is insane man
Scales off of base ng+
Bruh
I was already NG8 when the DLC released, lol, I had to do all of it blind the hard way.
this boss isn't too hard but those thorns lag the hell out of my game
Truly spectacular work seeing it live in action a marvelous Sight to Behold. Can't wait to see the Final Boss battle.
npc ahh chat gpt comment
Sunflower a burnt one
Idk why but I have such hard time fighting this guy. I had to resort to bold of gransax spam to get him
he tilted me too ngl but aiming for the head with a fire weapon is good
Lowkey use anything fire and he falls over like nothing
Just frenzy laser beam him you’ll be fine
What build is this?

We should send a link to this video to everyone who whined that the DLC is too hard. 😂😂
It’s not tho once you find enough Scadu fragments you’ll be completely fine

@@brandonwoodhouse358 yes pretty much it took me the but I’m able to take on the black knights with more ease

Totally agree 💯👍 there's so much people that whined it's to hard
no this boss is actually just dogshit, the hitboxes are so utterly fucked and all he does is roll catch on top of that
