Hi Mark good luck for the race all home has been done now it's up to them... It reminds me of school days all done for the exam. I wish they all make it back and wish for you some good records... It's great just to participate I think.. Best of luck again God bless
Good luck Mark. You have worked very hard so far. Everything will be fine your birds are ready its all up to them now. Cant wail until sunday for update
Hi....one thing to remember your best racing young birds don't always make your best old bird racers so don't be to hard on the late arrivals some birds mature much later than others.....I always treat young bird racing more as education.,.....hope you do well on your debut
Good luck mark are you only racing young birds. the proof is in the basket it won’t be long before your racing widowhood if-that’s the road your going down old birds give you so much pleasure all the best Steve Manchester England 👍
I'm seeing a lot of safflower in the mix here. Good deal! A high energy food needed for the short, quick races and also, easily digestable.. When the distance starts to stretch out, they will need more fatty grains in the mix.. Corn, Peas etc.
Is that a club race or a combine race . We don’t have a club race here we race Center Jersey homing pigeon combine . Usually 145 different lofts 1000 to 2500 birds very hard to get up front here specially if the wind is not the right direction the ACS club that I belong to is the most southern club out of them all . Good luck with your race is very enjoyable to see the birds comeback home from a race 👍
Hi mate got fingers crossed for race day hopefully they will make good time over longer distance like last 100 mile toss how many birds are you putting in race?
GOOD LUCK WITH THEM THIS WEEKEND . Are you giving them another feed tonight and a light feed tomorrow morning or leaving them as is .HAVE A GOOD ONE. BE GREAT TO SEE YOU WIN YOUR FIRST RACE. THE BUZZ IS FANTASTIC EVERY TIME YOU WIN WHETHER IT BE 40 YEARS OR FIRST RACE .STILL THE SAME. THE TRICK IS NOT TO GET TOO DISAPPOINTED IF YOU'RE A BIT BEHIND. EVEN THOUGH IT HURTS .
Win or lose i will be happy because i know i did what i neeses to to prepare the birds, its up to them now. I will give them a light feed tomorrow morning

@@redstarloft5211 Don't worry they're healthy and like you say it's over to them. I do think you will get a good one though. ALL THE BEST
Yes, do record the race. I wouldn't mind seeing how well they come home. Use a tripod and aim the camera at the loft. You can live stream it for us.
Ill probably just record it like i did last weekend
Hi Mark how you did in the race on Sunday I didn't see your post the results
I made a post that the race was pushed back to next weekend because of bad weather
Ok looking good
Hey Mark, how many rounds of young were you able to get out of your breeders this year? Looks like you only have like 12 pairs or so but you managed to get like a hundred young’s haha.
12 breeders at my house and a few more at my dads, 3 rounds out of each pair
Are you giving Pink minerals to your youngsters
Its already in the grit i give them
Good luck , take it to the bank you will be in the top three birds
Thank for the support! Sure would be nice haha
One note don’t let them drink water when they come home first just feed and after feed is done 10 to 15 minute later put the water for them , thanks
