Looking forward to your zipper jig. My nephew made me one with a clamp and a fork. I use it all the time for the #5 zippers and the towel holder one for the #3 zippers.
DST is so great to hold binding. I've done this method for years now. Also, cause I want my sewing project to smell good with that good smelling DST

I know it’s kind of backwards or counter intuitive, but I like the idea of the binding on the outside - it looks like it would keep those points firm and sharp
I was just about to comment that same thing! I like the pattern but reversed. I would sew the outside-in and the inside-out

Does the front of this coffin have to be vinyl or can it be cotton? I want to make this so bad but I only have plain vinyl and want something printed on the front

Where did you get your needle plate for your Juki? I am looking at purchasing a DU1181n and the needle plate does not come with stitching increments - 1/4, 1/2, etc.
