i have exactly the same set, works beautifully. P.S if u look inside the middle compartment u will find, red and blue tags and some other stuff to attach to your probs.
it makes no difference as they are digital probes not analogue. in my experience with these clamps you can pretty much do what ever you want. My only grievance with these probes is that they're not the most water tight and i have experienced water ingress in my clamp probes over the last year that has caused one to fail.
I was gonna get these but I got the field piece and not so bad I was gonna just say either way you go it'll be a game changer for you happy hvacin 👉🏼👈🏼
The range is way better than the previous generation. I think it depends on where you are, materials of a building etc. I walked from my van along side of a warehouse building and they dropped out at about 150'
Great video Do these take regular alkaline batteries or do I have to worry about keeping 6 devices charged? Do you know how large a pipe the temp probe fits? Is their a way to detach the thermister and strap it to a large pipe?
Bro, I have those and I found out that the the clamp teps are way off. Like around 10 less than it actually is. Used 3 different wired clamps and 2 multimeter. Wired was saying around 50 and the Testo was saying 41. Should test yours right now. Maybe put on an ice cube.
Is it worth having the 2 thermohygrometers or do you not really use them much? Just curious as it's double the price with those as well. Wondering what your honest opinion is I'd appreciate your advice
i know its been a while since you did the video, how do you like your testo smart probes. thinking of picking them up for the upcoming summer season thx be safe out there.
I got my set but the numbers are different. I'm not using them because I too a one year contract in another company. My set has more probes; psychrometer, infrared thermometer heat probe and manometer.

Theses probes are truly a game changer when it comes to troubleshooting.
do they work with Android phones?
Do you know if a fieldpiece manometer will work with truflow grid?
Just picked these up today and can’t wait to put them to work.
You'll love them

Cool didn't know that lol
My only correction would be. You want to turn on the probes before connecting to the ports. You'll need to zero out the probes before each use.

If you wanted to add Freon would you add a T-type fitting to the low side?
Can you test both high and low side with just 1 gauge?
Great video ! What is your range with these gen 2 smart probes that you have experienced in the field ? Or could you do a demo video on them ?

Will two 605i read temperature differential?

Is the bluetooth on those better than the digital gauges? I can't get even around the corner with my 550's without it losing connection.

You’re not concerned about that 9-10° of SH back to the compressor?
What is the phone or devise you are using with them

is this a low-loss fitting ?
Not in the traditional sense, but it only accepts a small amount of refrigerant.

You need Testo 552i vacuum probe for that
