This song... it reminds me of my friends in our younger days. We were so fearless and bold, afraid of nothing. Then we all got old and had to get jobs and mortgages. I just imagine walking into those old woods whistling to summon our younger fearless spirits.
I'm in there somewhere amongst the whistlers calling for adventures in the night time woods! Coordinating schedules is ridiculous...best not to wait for others but get it in when you can! It's important!
Thank you for the song. Strange how close you got to me on that one. An entire careers worth of feelings wrapped up in one song. God bless those still on the Mountain.
After 13 years together I was getting married to my girlfriend, but then she suddenly left me. This is the song which better describes my state of mind: the need to be alone with nature and find the strenght to understand who you are and where you're going.
Forza Bro, fra un po' tutto sarà chiaro, intanto hai imparato tante cose. Niente di meglio della natura, di un ritiro spirituale o di un pellegrinaggio per cambiare ciclo. 💪
Same thing happened to me last April. Some women just do not have a soul or think about how it affects us. We don’t get broken hearts we get broken minds.
Great song and video. The beat is so propelling, like he's driving down the road. I'm guessing Ryan wrote this after his divorce, which makes it all the more meaningful. I'm really looking forward to the new album!
Beautiful video. I miss the forest, country, just being alone and away from all the damn noise. This is the kind of song you drive to at night, on a somewhat desolate road, with the stars and the moon painting the sky.
Never knew this guy existed until Yellowstone. Found out he is actually a singer/guitar player and now I'm listening to his songs! Great actor and musician. Holy crap, why haven't I heard of him until two weeks ago after binge-watching Yellowstone?
What’s “popular “ Is mostly what people are told to like, or it’s the cotton Candy pop country that’s easily digestible. I also think that he could have went a different route after winning an Oscar, but chose not to sell out. I tend to think that’s what the song “My Diamond is too rough” Is about. I hope he’s discovered in time for people to enjoy seeing him live and for him to know that eventually he’ll be recognized as up there with the greats. Everyone I’ve shared his music with becomes a fan. Maybe I just have friends with good taste in music though haha
The whistling reminds me of old westerns. It’s different from older Bingham stuff but I dig it. I also wonder to what degree “The mountain” Is his unconscious. Cool song.
If we weren't living in an upside-down world rightnow, this would be on every radio station climbing the charts. But the Casey Kasem top 40 days are long gone 😮
I love this song I found out abt him bc of yellow stone and I love all of his music I really like nobody knows my troubles this song and south side of heaven speaking of Yellowstone Cole hauler (rip) from Yellowstone was in my town
I absolutely agree, but I wish he would sing better, I mean he really does not hit the correct notes regularly, maybe that's the only reason why he isn't more famous. I think Ryan is a legend, but sometimes I do think he should take singing lessons, also maybe to not hurt his voice so much when singing.
@@Juelz4ever His voice is fine. Were you a fan when he was with the dead horses band? I've loved his voice for years. It's one of those you know when you hear it. Unique. Like Willy or. Johnny Cash or John Denver. I was a fan before he was even famous. Years ago there was a magazine called Texas Music , it may still exist.? They sent a CD with every issue of newer artists and had articles about them. That's how I learned about Ryan Bingham and a few others that weren't nationally popular, but popular down there. He has always sounded the same. Now he's known everywhere because of Yellowstone, putting a face to the voice.
My man, you bring life back to music.....I enjoy living on my Mountain in Colorado, come join in some time. The soul is revived up upon this Mountain where all my wild things are 👍 stay killin the vibes and lyrics, your music always brings good greatness!
Your work ethic, sound, and talent are exceptional. I stood in the 7th row, aisle at Wichita Orpheum to see you play live, a dream come true after listening to your music since 2007. Always a fan.
I just watched him in concert, his songs hit so different live. His voice is mesmerizing and magnificent plus the stories he tells with his songs is so beautiful. Bucket list is checked
After seeing him perform in Denver last year, I went from casual fan to "all-in" super fan. Was so blown away that I immediately booked a flight for his next show at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth to double down on that experience. He's a great songwriter but a force of nature live
Jesse Ray Kindrick here, this is the most ass kicking hillbilly song, I ever heard!! It touches my heart and soul 3:58 being a lumber jack most my life driving into the woods at dark with heart breaks, this song tells my life 💔 story. This song is my life story. Thanks from all the rest of my broak ❤,your a true soul brother Ryan God speed little bro!
My most favorite favorite book, movie, and now a song??!!?!?!! I can feel the destiny being fulfilled lol I will sleep with the stars and carry with me my six string.... As always, awesome music 🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎶 I am so in love
Loving it, great sounds. There's a tune on there that reminds me of my own song from years ago haha When the Devil Taps You on the Shoulder. Similar style to Devil Stole My Style :P Looking forward to hear a wider album, hit that blues more too love that stuff :P
I know right where that's coming from... Every so often, when life gets crazy, out of control, I hop in the boat and disappear. Even though I can catch a good number of fish, just 2 minutes away, I'll run that boat 30,40 minutes, travel 10 miles or so up river, miles from any other human, just to be alone and catch a couple fish in the middle of the night. Best feeling in the world. Just me and nature. Not a person around. It resets the soul.
Luv Bingham's music but Watch Out For The Wolf is the weakest album in his catalogue--very listenable but not up to his standard. And its not even LP length.Dear Ryan, please stick to writing and playing great songs and let producers do the producing again.
Happy 9th birthday kiddo hopefully one day you come to this song and see this comment i love you we will always be best friends kiddo L.A.A.D Love ya - DAD
This is a great song. I feel it in my bones. I want to grab my backpack, my camera, get into the car, and drive to the middle of nowhere with this song as my guide.

Damn bro. I came home to my place to see my girl just took all her things. I feel you and this tune rules. Better days ahead.
We understand you Brother, I hope you find that peace and balance we all seek.
Listen to this song. Ibthink he is meeting a girl there. And cheating
Same thing happened to me last April. Some women just do not have a soul or think about how it affects us.
We don’t get broken hearts we get broken minds.
I was really digging it then the whistling came in and then I was really really digging it. 🤠
Soy mexicano y no entiendo mucho el inglés pero me encanta tu música ryan , y mi sueño es verte tocar en vivo
He’s always playing here in Texas someday you will see him.
Great song and video. The beat is so propelling, like he's driving down the road. I'm guessing Ryan wrote this after his divorce, which makes it all the more meaningful. I'm really looking forward to the new album!
And the next chapter for thise that are brave enough to move on to better things!

My man is an Oscar winning singer/guitar player!
Right on
First time I heard mr Bingham was in "Crazy Heart", great movie, with Jeff Bridges. Some good tunes there.
To me crazy heart was such a underrated movie. Great cast and beautifully written movie
The whistling reminds me of old westerns. It’s different from older Bingham stuff but I dig it.
I also wonder to what degree “The mountain” Is his unconscious.
Cool song.

💙
Miss those days.
Hear Hear! It would be like a Croche and Lightfoot crossover..Yep.
Surprisingly though, the rest of Ryan Bingham's new EP sucks. I was very disappointed with the disjointed effort by Ryan Bingham.
Great reference!
Miss those days.
The whistle. ❤
Great song. Music and lyrics really transport me into the atmosphere of the outdoors and meaning of the song. Perfectly sung by Ryan
I love this song I found out abt him bc of yellow stone and I love all of his music I really like nobody knows my troubles this song and south side of heaven speaking of Yellowstone Cole hauler (rip) from Yellowstone was in my town
I just love his voice. Have for years.

Never had a song speak to me like this one. Could listen over and over for hours. ❤

Wow, really good. Something familiar-ish, but also unique. Keep that new music coming!
I'm with ya! It's familiar, but in a fresh way.
I'm looking forward to more!
Bingham is one of my favorite artists of all time. As we head into autumn, this feels fitting for sure. Hope I get to see him live again one day.
Love Ryan. This track has a real Springsteen feel to it. Love it
❤ Describes my life here in Alaska! Totally digging this song..wow! ❤
Imagine Ryan Bingham and Sierra Ferrell doing a duet album.
My man, you bring life back to music.....I enjoy living on my Mountain in Colorado, come join in some time. The soul is revived up upon this Mountain where all my wild things are 👍 stay killin the vibes and lyrics, your music always brings good greatness!

When did you see him in wichita? I live here & cannot believe I missed him!
Great song and I really like the imagery.
If Led Zeppelin did high desert country songs, this would be that. ❤
Can't believe he came into my work the other day, such a nice guy.
I just watched him in concert, his songs hit so different live. His voice is mesmerizing and magnificent plus the stories he tells with his songs is so beautiful. Bucket list is checked

You just might find me there listening to this. Beautiful.
Love it! Has a tomorrowland feel to it.
Definitely!
Seems as if (could be wrong) he's trying to sound very much like Chris Rea.
My Spotify year end thing had RB as my #1 and in the top 0.5% of all listeners. It's something...
love the whistlin.
A song that breaks through genres. Love this one.
Peace …..
Anyone else hearing Mike & The Mechanics - Living Years in that verse melody?
Your love that settles on to me
I carry with me now
Open wounds that bleed out in the distances allowed…
Pure talent!
Taking this song on the next adventure into the wild. Thanks Bingham.

Like a Deftones song. Really good.
He sounds like Bono and 80’s U2 in this song
Ryan, you need to go to the train station!
Absolutely love this song! Right up my alley. Ryan rules.
Didnt think much of his character on Yellowstone, but def man crushing his music!! This shit makes you feel!!
This is a great song. I feel it in my bones. I want to grab my backpack, my camera, get into the car, and drive to the middle of nowhere with this song as my guide.
Love this song
Is this a brand new Ryan Bingham song? I been waiting like 4 years for it... 💯💯💯🎶🎶🎶
Not normally the kind of music I listen to but I can’t deny the beauty of this song, this is something real special
Mark Lanegan Vibes
Awesome!!
Needs a peak and chorus
I listen to this while driving across west Texas at 2 in the morning
I was in central Colorado on a dirt road at 9, 000 ft whistling it. It was wild up there with seasonal storms..I am back home in Missouri now.
Listening to this while I sit in Dallas , Texas traffic. Wishing I was out in seclusion
How many songs can you name where the chorus is an 'instrumental' human whistle ?
Love it! ❤
what a song!
Jesse welles
💃 💃 ✌
Amazing
heard this the first time the other day and it'll live rent free in my head forever...
Fantastic in every way. Such a cool hook.
One of my favorite songs right now. 🖤💙🖤💙
