I grew up listening to "classic" country...Cash, Robbins, Patsy..all of it. My parents were at lest 10 years older than my classmates parents. I'm not too old (less than 50) to say...I find much of his music feels to me a bridge between old and new. too much country today is pop. I hope he does well.
All I can say is that great music has been coming out of Texas, Artist like Ryan Bingham, Justin Townes Earle, Gray Clark Jr,, Ruthie Foster and yes the Black Angels. This is what Heartland music is all about.
Ryan bingham and tyler childers are the guy clark and Steve earle of this generation. They are the Townes, Prine, Lucinda, Iris, ect ect. That I grew up listening to. This is NOW. I remember my dad playing that shit. Looking back hey thanks dad and uncle paul!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brilliant song with amazing lyrics!! I'm glad I started watching Yellowstone about 7mo ago I've found so many amazing artists be and this lad is at the upper echelon!n!!

This guy saves me with his music . Through the hardest times i play his songs and a new song comes on like this one and it uplifts me carries me somewhere I'm at peace and let's me stop crying. Ps I've had a few beers
Buddy you might not know this but your music is amazing and it hits home for me , and also this song is on the ranch , I heard 5 seconds of it on the send of an episode and I just had to know what song it was
City folk here, been wild... just a different walk... would of loved ur steps v mine. It's 1 heck of a journey, my friend. Stay grounded! Hope to see ya there in the end. God bless.
Sure. Well then podnah, if all you country folk are off the grid, how do you watch your Trump videos and speeches? No really, no one lives off the grid. Except hermits. This lie about how country people are better off is ridiculous. 20 of top 25 worst states to live in are rural red states. But sure, be free y’all.
I aint confused at om at all and my diamond cuts deep enough to part the red sea and dry up or flood the dead sea see see cc Sonora or aree blind by illusion I'm white bright incendiary light y
Sorry, what? I spent longer then I care to admit trying to translate your comment to English just out of pure curiosity lol. It made enough sense up to the parting the Red Sea part and then you just totally lost me
Thank you for writing this song. Crazy when a perfect stranger can articulate exactly how you’re feeling.
No doubt
I hope that he becomes just as recognizable to the general public as all of the big singers, he certainly deserves it!
He hasn't sold his soul, only those that agree to spew the propaganda SJW nonsense can get that attention
@@LL-hc3zm Wow. Making it political instead of how great the music is. Congratulations.
@@LL-hc3zm 😆😆😆😆😆😆. And it is complete nonsense….. 100%. I identify as someone who can’t stand those people ….
I hope is just Ryan Bingham
Four years later: "hey, didn't know the guy on Yellowstone was a singer!!!"
-everyone and their brother, probably.......

True diamonds are always rough. Our country is troubled, but we have so many incredibly talented musicians and songwriters. We need to listen.
When future generations look back on this confused time, only a few things will make sense. Ryan Bingham's music is one of those things.
Well said
Never has a comment aged with such grace to such a gem of wisdom as your comment has sir.
I can only hope you are going well.
Ryan Bingham has inspired me not to give up during some tough times; especially his song, 'The Weary Kind'.
yes sir

@FilmNoir, can we add a Blaze to that list
Or Townes Van Zandt?
I think that's who he meant justin townes earle isn't from Texas is he Tennessee probably
R.i.p. Justin Townes Earle.....
Ryan is definitely a diamond in the rough.... Best country music since Waylon.
He's New Mexican born
Ryan Bingham is one of a kind... A diamond in the rough.💎✨
You're not done. You've just begun! Chin up and brush that shit off. Here we come!!
The last time I died was when the spirit of Jesus baptized me in the saint Johns river. I was alone. Grace alone.
Unbelievable hes not on the top of the charts. Found him in 2010 and i thank the music gods for his words...
He won a Oscar a golden globe a grammy. He's probably good with
Out the charts
The ranch😍!

Just stumbled on this song ❤️Just gets to the soul
Talentos como esses deveria ter mais no UA-cam
Such lyrics... ❤️❤️❤️
People they tell me
As they look upon my skin and bones
You're ragged and you're dirty
Hardly worth your weight in gold
For all of your suffering
No one gives a good goddamn
It's all about the money, son
We doubt you understand
Yodelay-ho
They say your diamond is too rough
Yodelay-ho
I'd never trade it for their love
Sometimes at night
I look upon the stars above
They never shine as bright
As my diamond in the rough
People they tell me
Just to give up and go on home
But to have no home to go to
Is something they'll never know
Yodelay-ho
They say your diamond is too rough
Yodelay-ho
I'd never trade it for their love
Yodelay-ho
They say your diamond is too rough
Yodelay-ho
I'd never trade it for their love
Sometimes I feel
Like I ain't getting nowhere
I'm walking down this road
With a burden I can't bear
I never let this world
Get too heavy on my shoulders
'Cause my diamond always will
Pull the weight that I'm under
Yodelay-ho
They say your diamond is too rough
Yodelay-ho
I'd never trade it for their love
Yodelay-ho
They say your diamond is too rough
Yodelay-ho
I'd never trade it for their love
“Hey Rooster...Welcome home.”

You sound like a wannabe country person lol. I'm from the city and probably have 10x the backcountry experience you do, wannabe.
Sure. Well then podnah, if all you country folk are off the grid, how do you watch your Trump videos and speeches?
No really, no one lives off the grid. Except hermits.
This lie about how country people are better off is ridiculous.
