Interesting but I missed the part where they talked about what it's like in the middle of a storm.
These oil rigs just fascinate me so much!
I worked in the early 80's on a Semi in the North Atlantic when we were hit by a storm where we had 65' waves. In fact it was so bad that the company realised too late that the movement of the heli deck was too much for evacuating most of the crew so we had to sit it out for a few hours - always something to remember even after all those years ago.👍👍👍
Well that storm passed quickly.
i did this job in the north sea on the brent b oil rig in the late 70s had a great time good mates great food all in all job was good
My cuz was a cook on a oil rig in the Gulf Of Mexico , he worked like 3 weeks on 3 weeks off the pay was really good.
What storm, lasted 15 seconds...
Early 70's. I did a few 90 day stays on a semi-submersible barge in the Gulf of Mexico. A good experience for a 18 yr old.
Truly fascinating 🩵🩵🩵
Nice disguise WATOP. Really good. Great video btw ;)
I've always wanted to work on a oil rig. Mainly for the money.
Very interesting video, but there was never anything on oil rigs in a storm, like the title suggested.
It's a good job overall.
Little do we know when we fill our vehicles!!
Looks fun
thanks for avoiding showing the middle of the storm
Its different here. Sometimes we work 1-2 weeks. Other time its 45 days (maximum allowed) with only less than 2 weeks of rest (depending on how crucial the ongoing projects). Ive been working as an offshore contractor for oil & gas industry and hoping I'll finally be able to go oversea and experience the different work ethics and cultures.
good
Really misleading title...
❤ the lesson but...i was looking for the waves 😂😂😂😂..
