Good point; they are one of the rare bands whose songs bear repeating over and over without making you get tired of them! The only others I have found are Alan Parsons Project and Neil Young, so they're in good company!
I feel like his acting represents the modern loneliness of this generation... many of us are constantly trying to be happy but that attempt itself eventually makes us more depressed because the reality cant be as beautiful as our expectations. I can see that frustration from his eyes even tho the lyrics might be delivering something else

Live without being pressured by social media. I guarantee you alot of this are due to comparing to other people on socials, there are people completely happy eating chips and watching a movie alone on a friday then they turn on social media to see how much more people are doing more interesting than them, they have that feeling that they must do more just to get on the level of other people. Seeing other people enjoy traveling, eating exotic food, hanging out with other good looking people and the sort. Not saying one should not aim for these things, also not saying they should. All im saying is, if you want things like that then make the effort and if youre satisfied with you are now then close the app and focus on you.

Upon listening and watching this masterpiece, I suddenly remember the song of Paramore- “Ain’t It Fun”. It’s like the song telling us how it feels living in the real world. We may find happiness in the things we love to do alone, but we still want to live with people who truly care for us. Being alone gives peace, but sometimes, aloneness leads to loneliness, too. Adulting sucks but we can’t turn back anymore. I hope good hearts get responses when they say “hello?”
