How to Fix a Broken Zipper Fly, Zipper Hack/Fix

Have a broken zipper fly? Watch my video on how to repair it. The zipper flies have a code on them, by typing it in on Google, you can find the supplier so you can purchase a replacement. No need to purchase a new stop, as the old one can be removed, and reinstalled. It was cheaper to purchase direct from the supplier as opposed to Amazon.

If you horseback ride in a western saddle, zipping the coat open from the bottom a short distance prevents the bottom of the coat from getting hooked on the saddle horn in the event that the horse moves suddenly or bucks, pitching you up and forward. It's a good safety feature. If the coat gets hooked on the horn and you come off, you could end up dangling and being flopped around like a rag doll if the horse keeps bucking!

I can't stop asking myself if you didn't insert the zipper slider upside down at first and then at the end of the clip you fixed it? When I compare how the old zipper slider was installed it seems that it was turned the other way than the new slider.

jtwalk45 If you look closely at the zipper, you'll see some code/number. If you type that on a Google search, you'll see it pop up. Once selected, you'll be able to see the vendors that carry it.

Do a search of the letters and numbers on the Zipper. I don't remember any longer and apologize. That's all I did. There are several options.
