Just wait until SORA. This is honestly the best horror short I've seen. It wasn't cringe or ridiculous. It had the best use of AI video I've seen and it looks way better than cgi, plus good acting. And that scene where multiple versions of her slowly creep in was actually pretty creepy. I love this and I'm saving it to my playlist for historical purposes. Hopefully you'll do more stuff with AI?

Niiiccce!!! I've been really waiting for this one. The AI elements blend pretty well into the live-action, and of course the hallucinatory/nightmare nature of these scenes make even the imperfections of current state of AI work pretty damn good. Looks like "the future of filmmaking" is kind of already becoming the present of filmmaking, hehe ;) PS, I'm getting some Mulholland Drive and overall "Lynchian" vibes from this, with diner scene, doppelgangers and such, I don't know if it was intentional, but either way it's awesome!
As long as we can keep Congress at about f****** bedrooms and out of our creativity when it comes to filmmaking we'll get there that it worth something that I didn't like the cartoonism of the heart and all that s*** that could have been doing a bunch of 15 year olds with a webcam and if he made the AI more realistic that's my only criticism
It was well done but I'm still waiting for that moment where it gets fully integrated into the story, rather than presented as a gimmick. I think it could have been pushed a lot further.

@@Pacmanian I used mostly Comfyui. I did use midjourney on one image because I was too lazy to spin up my comfyui. Really it was about the marriage of traditional vfx and generative work. I used photoshop, after effects, resolve, and nuke. Generative tools assisted me in a lovely way but they were about 30% of the solution.
@@Pacmanian Apologies for the late reply. I had written and sent it but for some reason it didn't make it to you. I used ComfyUI for nearly all of it. I generated one thing in Midjourney. Implementation was a mixture of After Effects, Resolve ,and Nuke.
True but that won't really be filmmaking , it's just taking away the soul and sanctity from the art. One will only be a prompter not a Filmmaker no matter what
It's sad how some people are so against AI and stuck in their ways; they're not opening their minds to the greatness of the creations. AI is the future, so you better get used to it and embrace it. Tyler Perry didn't halt production of his 800-million-dollar studio for nothing. Anyways, this was impressive.
If you think the future is taking mediocre ideas and slapping unimpressive, derivative/stolen works on top of them, then your knowledge of art and film are probably as deep as a Tyler Perry film. This film was beyond bad.
How do you deal with this issue: "For a product to be copyrighted, a human creator is needed. AI-generated content can't be copyrighted because it isn't considered to be the work of a human creator."
Excellent movie!! My only gripe is why would I run away from a busy open area with lots of people into a dark, creepy closed space and then ask for help 😅

I can't wait to see this!!!! Nice it opens after T2 Remake! Sweet! I'm hoping to get Spider Gates Cemetery out for October I want fall release but there's so much work still in the writing phase. But that LTX studio looks pretty promising so that might be a huge help with streamlining the workflow once I start production. I'm really digging this approach mixing live action with AI. I've been using HyperHuman ChatAvatar to create 3D characters from AI characters that I trained on my friends and then ran a Face swap to ensure they looked just like them, then ran that through HyperHuman for a realistic 3D model. I'm hoping to use Unreal Engine to build out the world using AI for the concept. What an amazing time we're living in huh? I'm pretty pumped to see your finished product man, it's one of the best looking AI pieces I've seen since T2 😊

I have many other ideas in the pipeline and if SGC does decently, I might green light my next project Little Miss Adventures Diary of Yumi Hirokima my Saturday morning style anime cartoon. But keep an eye out for that T2 remake, it drops on LA on the 6th and then on AI television on the 9th as an all day stream. Trust me, there's not gonna be any kind of shortage on this kinda content. Leaving the story aside for one second, I am sure this saved you some time in post but, may I ask, how much? none of this effects seem insanely complicated to do traditionally and you would have gotten better results overall. The look is definitely AI and unfortunately for me it left me thinking that this feels more like a showcase of the limitations of AI workflows and its use cases. Not sure if it is a very successful tech demo but either way Kudos for the work. The film is quite creepy :)
While this particular video doesn't have a walk through, Dave gives a walk through of all types of styles (text to video, image to video, and video to video) all in the AI Advertising course.
To be honest, the build up to climax felt flat since there is nothing for us to root for the main characher + the resolution doesn’t offer anything but an attempt at jumpscare. In the end, the A.I. presented its potential to be a worthy tool in filmmaker’s arsenal but when intentionally used as a vehicle to tell the story, it just comes off as cheap effect, which pulls the audience out of the story. Like Deakins says in regards to cinematography: “If audience doesn’t notice, you done your job.”

This was a mix of Live Action and Generative AI (LiveGen); the actors here are all real :)
