- In this video I go over the number one issue ANY clothing brand or company comes across... no its not marketing, not scaling none of that because this is an issue for businesses and companies that are ALREADY taking off, just something to keep in mind. If someone says otherwise, they're lying, aren't large enough and or don't know shit about logistics ;).

Honestly we have it so easy now in day to start our companys and clothes lines compared to back in the day were people had to physically walk everywhere to talk to someone and sell. We can almost build our companys from the computer. Insane and still we complain.
Alex G yeah but most of us were raised with a silver spoon in our mouth so makes the process still difficult .....doing it and saying it are two complete different things. If you have the drive and the energy, go for it

so i bought 100 leggings from china got them and listed them on Ebay at 20% profit cus reseller on ebay are selling them just for a few cents more that you get them from china, any way they are not selling not 1 is almost a month. what's a realistic profit i should plan on them what can i do to max my return? new on this

Hey man, how did you solve this issue tech-wise using Shopify?
The ERP software we use called Retail Ops actually is custom built for us and our back end and plugs into shopify. As far as inventory management, we don't use shopify, we use Retail ops which essentially adjusts the shopify counts etc automatically.
@@RandallPich thank you so much for answering my question - but there is no chance to get Retail Ops like you did except for getting a custom software for ourselves? We are still in the beginning and money is tight ;)
@@riemer87 ah yea, Retail Ops can run from 40k to over 100k depending on what you need it for. In the mean time I'd say just try and be sharp with your management counts etc. When we did it manually we had cycle counts, regular internal audits etc.

I recently started looking into some cryptocurrencies and I found Waltonchain.
They want to incorporate blockchain technology with RFID chips that they put in products. They also used clothing in an example video.
This would make it easy to collect data from clothing in stores, from amounts of times an item has been taken from a rack to easier payments but also to be able to tell of an item is fake or not by this chip.
I can imagine this being really handy for keeping track of stock also since you don't have to scan every item individually but you can just scan a whole batch.
Maybe you find this interesting for the future. There's a video demonstrating the use of it.
