Another cool thing about Windansea is that there are a lot of historic homes in the area(you can tell which ones are historic because they'll have a little plaque on the frontside of the home). That little area around there is called the Beach-Barber Tract. Mitt Romney used to have a beach-front house on Dunemere Drive. Back when he was running for president he'd sometimes vacation at that home, and secret service would shutdown entry to that street. Also, towards the left end of Windansea there's a pump-house and a porta-potty. When somebody in the local surf crew dies, people turn it into a memorial(they'll spraypaint stuff on it, paint murals sometimes, leave flowers, etc).

If you ever want to do a Top 10 Hidden Nature Spots in San Diego County (even though it would take longer to shoot since the county is a much bigger area) I could hook you up with a crazy list of amazing spots that aren't well known. Places out in the mountains and desert that are mindblowing.

One thing I'm missing about NYC/NJ is pizza. So when Long Island Mike's is up on your video, I have to try it.
Its a great spot and Mike has always been such a nice person. I love pizza! If i could only choose 1 food in this world to eat it would be NYC style pizza. I need Jon to try the sicilian to see if it holds up to others in NYC!
Great Video one thing about Windandsea is very nearby is the pump house Of the Famous “ Pump House Gang “ Book by Tom Wolfe ; Meda, Panthur !

We are planning to check out the Civita tunnel u mentioned on ur part 1. There's a place in Old Town, called Heritage County Park, it's an area where the Victorian Houses are, I think about 6 houses. The address is 2454 Heritage Park Row, check it out! It's a nice place to go to and it's free! U can't go inside the houses but it's good to look at and for picture taken.

Yeah it’s crazy that it actually snowed here! I heard you guys are potentially getting some snow as well. I know the alpine area did. Vegas is still poppin man. Downtown seems to be where it’s at. I plan to be back in diego around April or May

My wife and I are born and raised in Jersey and are always looking for pizzerias that serve great pies that remind us of back home. I will have to hit up Long Island mikes and see if it holds up. Also there is another spot in Poway that serves NY style pizza that we recently heard about not that bad. And it feels like a NY pizzeria. I am sure you know about. If not hit me up 👍🏽

Sadly San Diego is kind of dead right now. Majority of the best spots are closed due to covid and those that are not dont feel the same anymore. Still love Sd. Might just take a few years to get back to it’s glory. Beach is always great though, just not enough to stay for. Can always visit during summer.

The rude arrogant bike riders have ruined far too many places in San Diego that used to be great places to walk and enjoy the scenery. Now you constantly have to be ready to jump out of their way and that ruins the fun of any walk.
