I tried to write down the pattern for this vid, cuz i myself rather read a written pattern..🙃♥️ thanks for the vid so much! Row 1: Chain 4, slip stitch in 1st (magic ring) Row 2: Chain 3, 1 dc, Chain 6 3 dc, Chain 6 (× 5) End with 1 dc You now have a total of 6 petals Row 3: Chain 1, sc, hdc, 7 dc, hdc, sc, chain 1 Slip stitch in middle of 3dc (× 6) Finish
You could always make ur chain straps a lot longer & put them thru one of the loops of the back flowers (prob the best would be the ones more towards the back centre from where you attached the straps) pull the straps thru the petal loops & tie in a bow. Also, wet blocking can be MUCH easier if you pin the garment out first & then wet thoroughly with a water spray bottle. It's easier than manipulating wet items & how I do all my fine & lace crochet work 🙂
OH MY GODD i'm making this top right now for my friend as a surprise gift for her bday!! and i wasn't sure about the length of the straps and this is a GENIUS idea!! thank you so much for this comment!! hope your pillow is always nice and cold
I am trying it with cotton yarn and size 4mm hook it’s a lot more difficult and not sure if I like the way the flowers are laying but I love this pattern so much so cute!!
I’ve made a couple with that size of yarn, they are on my Instagram if you want to see what the finished product looks like! I also prefer the look with thinner yarn though
@@noraakj5756 i already finished the top and i just unraveled the petals up to the point where i have to rejoin them. it might be frustrating to do this but as i was doing it for all of my flowers, it didn't feel like much work at all :)
I am making this but sewing together. I made my flowers tighter so I can stitch a piece of backing fabric on and make it a self supporting, nipple hiding, shirt
Pro tip if you don’t know the exact measurements do not weave in ends until your first row is done because I ended up having to take out a flower after I tried it on because it was way too loose and taking apart already weaved in ends in a pain in the ass 😂
I'm currently crocheting this top and find that when joining the flowers into rows they lay prettier when joining the lower petals on their 5th double crochet (instead of 4th) and the upper ones on their 3rd. I'm still on my first row, so idk about the rest yet 🙈
hi dear very beautiful work. thank you so much for the lovely tutorial. i just finished crocheting the first line. i have a question now how do you attach the second line flowers. do we have to crochet the second line too and then attach? plz let me know.
Am making this in fall colours … goofed up a few times … but so looking forward to the outcome … wish me luck guys … making a size large and math was never my forte 😅
Amazing! Can I ask much yarn did you end up using to make a top this size? Looking to estimate how much I'll need to buy in the color I want to make one . Ty!!
hey! sorry I didnt understand, when you said "you wil do the same process for the entire row" you mean to do one flower at a time, cut the yarn and keep connecting as I am doing it or shoud I just keep going continue without cutting the yarn? (sorry for my english, i just obsessed with this top!!!!!)
я сделала 5 лепестков вместо 6, мне так больше нравиться как выглядит. как думаете, это повлияет на результат? получится ли их после соеденить как у вас? I made 5 petals instead of 6, I like the way it looks better. Do you think this will affect the result? Will it be possible to connect them later like you did?
I just came to lean how many flowers I need to crochet because I was sure you crochet them all and THEN sew them together... I'm gonna dry my tears with the 20 single flowers I have, brb.
I had the same problem. However, I found a solution that allows you to use most of the flowers. In the video, it shows how to crochet flowers together by attaching one flower to the new one. Instead, you can attach a flower on each side of the new flower. This way you might still be able to use all the single flowers 😉
hi there yes u can try to join it but i think the way she did would be easy for u u can just watch the video on rewindor u can watch in slow motion it's not that hard
This is beautiful. As someone who just started crocheting and hoping to start a small business one day do you allow that what you teach is we can make in our own way and sell?
The type of yarn and hook size won’t matter you’d still be able to make the same pattern but it’ll change how many flowers you need per row. So if you use a larger yarn than in the video you may need less flowers total but if you use a smaller yarn you may need more. It’ll change the thickness of each flower so that’s what will change the size
I tried to write down the pattern for this vid, cuz i myself rather read a written pattern..🙃♥️ thanks for the vid so much!

I loved your work! But I have a question, what type of yarn do you use or how can I order it?
❤ thank you 🙏

Thank you so much 🥰
Loved that you mentioned us visual learners ❤❤ totally me.
After it dries spray some spray starch & steam or cover & press. Like what grandma did with the doilies ❤️🇨🇦
Thank you!!

I just finished mine in white! I LOVE it!!
Thanks so much for this beautiful top, easy to follow too. Hope my aged hand will be able to complete it for my two grand daughters. God bless dear❤🙏
im mad rn because i just finished crocheting, washing, and blocking all my flowers only to find out that you have to join them as you're doing them 😭
Haha I’m sorry I didn’t release it sooner! That way works fine too it’s just more tedious in my opinion
I did this too😭😭😭 can you tell me if it worked when you joined them afterward?
@@noraakj5756 i already finished the top and i just unraveled the petals up to the point where i have to rejoin them. it might be frustrating to do this but as i was doing it for all of my flowers, it didn't feel like much work at all :)

Probably about 250-300 yards of this yarn!
I’m soooo excited to try this!! Have you ever tried it with a weight 4 cotton yarn? Does it come out the same size?
I'm going to try this with #4 weight yarn
THANKYOUUUUU FOR MAKING THIS TUTORIAL ❤
Excellent tutorial and a beautiful project. Thank you. Blessings
how many flowers did you made?
I am thankful for this tutorial wonderful work

Yes that’s correct! Do one flower at a time, connect it to the previous one, and cut the yarn once it’s complete, and then repeat
Did you block any of the flowers? Love this
Está muy bonito, ya lo hice y probablemente dándole vapor se le quite lo rizado a las flores

Yes definitely!! Should work fine

I kinda missed how many flowers I need to make the ? xD it's so cute and nice tutorial!
Heyy how much yarn did you use🤔🤔
Hello Maggie ❤❤
Loved your newest video today 😂😂
That is soooooo pretty like you.🌺🌺🌺
You can go to 'Settings' and slow 'Playback Speed' when you ⌚ watch
We shouldn't have to if she would also SAY what she's doing. It would be much easier and less confusion.
Amazing thank you so much❤
Did you use the whole skein? How many grams do I need?
Loved it ❤
What size hook and yarn weight did you use?
Beautiful!
Can I connect them all together at the end
does it matter if i use a different type of yarn and crochet hook size? I wanna do this but I'm not following😭

Hi!! I started making this top before you uploaded this video. So I’ve made the flowers, without attaching them. Is there any way, I can connect them?
I think the only option would be to sew them together at the same points I showed to connect them
