Each one guessed correctly is worth one point. If the player guesses all three correctly they advance to the trivia round. Guessing the trivia question correctly is worth two points for a grand total of five possible points per episode. Jayson Werth graduated from my High School. It's kind of crazy a small town of 13k in Illinois has had 4 players reach the MLB. The other 3 were both Maton brothers and Reid Detmers. The third Maton brother is also in AA for the Texas Rangers.
this is one of the few times ive been fully stumped by the hard and have never even heard the name before. it must be common knowledge with the new york crowd because of being el duque's brother because im surprised so many people got him.
I totally got this watching from almost winning rookie of the year as a Marlin in their 1997 World Series winning team. He provided a whole bunch of clutch starts in the stretch run and postseason.
I'm old enough to remember watching both Hernandez pitchers most of their careers, but I had no idea until now that they're brothers.

The only reason I was able to go 4 for 4 was because I have watched Game 7 of the 2002 World Series a ton. Livian Hernandez was the only pitcher I knew from the team and I remembered he pitched for the marlins. So I said it has to be him and I lucked out.
Gio Gonzalez would've been a nice one to put here because he's the one really good Nats pitcher I feel no one remembers. Maybe for another time.

Werth: The Toronto threw me off but the Philly to Was conversion and 46 2b 2010 season reminded me of his 2011 topps card. Never knew he was a Jay.
Livan Hernandez: Took a moment, but the connection came from 2010 Nats to 97 Marlins, as I have Livan's 2011 topps card. Flash thought of other Marlins arms like Anibal and Ricky Nolasco before finding Livan
This one was frustrating. Mentally I checked off Aaron Hill and Steve Pearce, but I knew it was another 2b/3b type. Kelly Johnson came to mind, but I couldn't envision him on Miami. Same with Jonny Gomes. I knew I would know him most from his Braves days.
Update, I did not hear the LH reliever part, so I have to restart my train of thought. I have no idea so I'm just listing guys off until something clicks. Tommy Milone, Billy Wagner, Hoby Milner, Eric O'Flaherty, Jesse Chavez, Brad Hand, Jerry Blevins, Andrew Miller, Grant Dayton. Wagner, Hand, and Blevins are my top shouts but i have no idea if Wagner did like a rookie stint with the Marlins or if Blevins was there, and I don't remember Hand as a Met. My inclination is that it's someone I haven't thought of.

Due to playing Immaculate Grid, Hand was easy. Got hand for NL East and Kelly Johnson for AL East.
