Lovely swatches, I totally agree about making brands and creating a custom studio palette. My studio palette contains an absurd number of brands but I absolutely love it because I've built it all out of brands that mix nicely together.
TFS these awesome paints. I love Schmincke too and I enjoy trying different brands and comparing pigment quality and binders. It does add up after a while.😢 Im grateful now for dot cards and great swatching videos in order to make decisions about purchases. Before dot cards were available, you would have to spend 8-10 USD on a tube to find that you didnt care for it. :( That really hurt your pocketbook when you didnt have as much to spend. Times have changed and now we can thank other WC enthusiasts for great videos like this. Have a great day. 😊
Yes I agree! It is nice to see swatches so that you can then decide if you like them or not, and omg I love dot cards. They have helped me so much when it comes to buying what I need or want in my palette.
I have been resisting buying any Shminke because I had not seen any color swatches that grabbed me... until now. There are four colors in there that I would kill for half pan of LOL.❤
Everytime I consider purchasing dot cards, I just cannot justify it, because of the price. Idk if it's different depending on where you live, but a Schmincke Dot card, for example, where I'm from is roughly €18-€21. For me personally, that's not a justifiable purchase, although I understand it's different for everyone! I definitely depend a lot on videos (like yours!), reviews and research of the product. Also sales, sales are awesome. I love the way you swatch, it's relaxing to watch, I like that you show it in real-time. I am a sucker for single pigments and am gonna look out for the PV62 and PV23. That one especially looks like good value because it's so intense❤
I hear you! I’m the same way about dot cards. I understand the purpose of them but I cannot bring myself to buy any due to the price. So like you I rely on swatching videos.
Yeah I totally get that. Dot cards are expensive just to try out colors, but at least there are the swatching videos so you can see what might work best for you that way instead.
Beautiful swatching 😍 I use schmincke the most out of all professional brands, because they are widely available in Germany and cheaper than on Jackson’s (UK). Your french ultramarine looks far too weak. It looks more like a cerulian blue 🤔 my French ultramarine looks like a typical ultramarine like from all the other brands. Maybe you had some kind of binder separation? 🤔

Yes! That's what makes creating a custom studio palette so fun.
Just seeing the tubes make me happy 😍
Definitely eye candy.

PV55 and PG26 are my favs. Very nice selection of colors. Thanks for swatching. ❤
Thanks for watching! I agree those are some pretty colors.

They have some GORGEOUS colors in their line.
AWESOME! thank u! very curious about Schminke paints after seeing someone on insta painting w only their colours!!
Lovely, lovely colours! I love the olive green, even though it's not very lightfast. And I clearly need the helio turquoise, it's absolutely gorgeous.
Haha, clearly.
Wow their cobalt violet looks so beautiful! And I lover their schmincke violet it was the first color I got from them 🥰
It's gorgeous 😍

Love your setup for this. I’ve got to find that stamp. New sub…
Thanks for subbing! I do really like her stamps.
Beautiful swatching 😍

Hmm possibly. I will go back and compare it to my dot cards to see.
