@lennanhan yeah I really do think they are essential. I don't to makeup on myself or other people with out primer. It helps to keep colors vibrant, helps them to "grab" onto the lid, prevents creasing, etc.
@Nicoloff7 hahha! those were the first actual makeup brushes I bought for myself- before that it was all craft store brushes all the time. I loved them so much I would lay them out just to look at them.It was like a 13-15 piece set and I was in love with them!
@JessieLynn5577 there are SO many factors there, but for 1 eyeshadows and other powder products last a very long time because powder isn't a friendly environment for bacteria. Also if you regularly wipe off the top layer of your makeup it will last longer. I need to make a video about this it's too much to cover in a comment. Basically if you are sanitary with your makeup, and there is no smell/color/consistency change, then you're probably fine.
@Shicurls they are really hit or miss. I think Glow Green is the best one. I had a bunch more but they were either not that great or dupes of other things I had so I gave them to my little sister.

But for some reason after watching your videos and how you mix so many colors I realized how I could attempt to make that dark black/green. It came out great! Your tips have helped so much! @emmarae714 If you use them REALLY sanitary (scoop it out ti use and wipe of the top layer once a month) a long while. As long as you don't notice texture/color/smell differences then it should be fine.
@Hayley7363 yeah I find that fix + does help glitter adhere, but La Splash eyeshadow base/sealer works better for GLITTER< but it can make shadow look chunky.
@MsTheBow I'm not really sure what you're asking here. Of course you can do eye makeup other than Smoky. I have a grillion (well, over 200) videos and not all of them are smoky.
@liddlemissunshine yeah I'm very sanitary with my makeup. If you don't see a texture/color/smell difference then you are ok, especially if you use good sampling methods.

I think a deep green would look amazing in your hair where your purple currently is. With a pinky violet shade on top. I know it would be high maintainance but you really suit deep greens
i absolutely love your videos. not that i would ever venture to wear such bright colors yet as i have just started to get into makeup and think its a little safer to stick with more neutrals til i get my blending and shaping technique down. . but i love watching the looks you do and your personality rocks. i really liked the tip of using your eyesocket bone to make your crease even on both eyes. do you have any other shaping tips on easy ways to make sure both eyes are even? thanks :D

this look is seriously fierce! im just starting into makeup and i watched this and wanted to do a green look. its not like this but i put a bright yellow on the lid, a bright lime green through the crease and a teal at the outer v :) put winged eyeliner on the top and also on the bottom with silver in the waterline, hot hot hot pink lipstick with a bit of cherry red in the middle. it sounds disgusting written down but thrown together it looks AMAZING! haha:) thank you so much for thisvid x

As always, your looks are amazing. I love wearing warm colors on my eyes because my skin tone is warm. I was born tan (haha.. I'm african, irish, and native american), so I'm medium to medium dark in complexion (depending on the season). What would you suggest I do to cool down my skin tone so that I don't look so strange wearing cool toned eye colors, and yet not look ashy as the same time?

We have a 'Witches Brew' dimly lit Coffe house here in NY. It's extremly gothic /antique, crawling with candles and homemade art. Yes, some what random, just thought I'd share. Btw, love the look on you Cora.
@CxChaos23 I did, and it works REALLY well. I recommend using a good primer and a green shadow under the Hard Candy just so you get more green and less black. It looks like Hard Candy's has larger green glitter than She Who Dares, but other than that, I like it a lot. Remember the semi-dupe color is Space Cadet.

@MalkavianHand I've never tried it either but I have to say I like hard candy products but I wish they were sold in more stores. You can find more fun makeup in that line than in other drugstore lines.
@vintageortacky - No kidding...it's probably a better seller than a lot of the ones in their permanent line. I ended up getting a few votives and a reed diffuser in Witches Brew (the online pic looks really cute), and a medium candle in Candy Corn (all at 50% off--score!) so it wasn't a total loss.

@ShortReprises use a bronzey or gold base for your shadows, a good one would be MAC's Rubenesque Paint Pot.

@LaurenW24 it seems to work great for me, maybe try doing a wash of a light shimmery color under it -shimmers help with blending.

I love green smokey looks and haven't done one in ages. I may just have to dig through my stuff and do one now. Love the glittery green effect!

For some reason i picked up this duo versus the purple/pink one. And purple is my fave color. The green just pulled me to get this, lovely color.
