Is it possible to please look at the rigs a little more? Especially the fast ones. There is a lot to learn for both sailors and viewers its pretty interesting. Used to do it a lot more but seems like its done a lot less these days .
Always enjoy your coverage of the races, great filming and commentary. Love visiting Sidney harbour every week from my sofa, sailed there in 2000/2001, but now 76 and unlikely to do it again. 😎⛵️
Captaining question??? the more replies the better thanks!! Good morning from Sunday in Florida, I love watching your coverage several hours earlier than the races happen on your Sunday. I saw something happen in the race that I have never gotten an answer for in my boating experience. The fleet at about 30:13 (just after the J70 fleet crossing) encountered a powerboat towing something. Since the powerboat wasn't big, I assumed they were towing a person in an "innertube"/watertoy. Right of way (I think) goes #1 swimmer #2 human powered (kayak) #3 wind powered (sailboat/kitesurfer) #4 motorboat # 5 Seaplane --- Does the "swimmer in the innertube" change the powerboat towing them from position #4? Thanks in advance for your thoughts I spent an hour searching Google and ChatGPT to find an answer there and only found "wear the proper lifevest" and "do not before or after sunset/sunrise"
Don't see the point of installing the Vakaros system, and having the teams use them, if the data isn't going to be utilized. If Finport was OCS then fine. but call them OCS at the start and not 55 minutes into the race.
The vakaros does tell you if you are over the line, however it is positioned on the mast under the boom, which is a little tricky to see when you are on the front of the wing

Phah! Only 30 degrees, oh wait you mean centigrade😳, thanks for keeping us Northerners warm, great as usual.
Fantastic drone shots for this amazing race. Many thanks to Sail Media as usual.

Great work Yandoo. Excellent as always Sail Media
awesome shots as Yandoo finished!
Thanks 👍
Great job Yandoo. Get well soon Woody. I'm a bit surprised the fancy Vakaros system didnt do its job on Finport, do they get a refund?

Completely agree. Would be good to get the team's thoughts on that subject next week once any protest room action has happened.
