There are a lot of infuriating things about ALR, but I think one thing I especially agree with is her absolutely shit grammar versus her nonstop assertion that she always uses perfect grammar. Girl structures sentences like a primitive ChatGPT. And everything is consistently “plural is adjective.” “Mental things is scary.”
But she continues to brag about her mastery of the English language like she’s a fucking poet laureate. Like, girl, suck at speaking and writing your own language, fine. It’s gross and basic to me, but some people genuinely struggle to communicate properly. But to turn around and brag about how articulate you are while saying shit like “mental things is scary” sends me up the fucking wall.
For some reason, that is the consistent shit that breaks this camel’s back.
I never watch her directly. I’m about to the end of my ALR journey. I have lost all interest and any degree of empathy.

Amberlynn really set up a question that dismisses the real issue.
The question is, Should UA-cam keep *MONETIZING* Mukbang videos, for creators who have disclosed their Eating Disorders?
You can upload whatever you want. But MONETIZING videos where a creator is actively in their addiction is the thing that audiences don't want to see.
No one wants to watch active suicide.
Audiences complain to sponsors and the SPONSORS listen to them. Make the videos 18+ No sponsor wants to do things that make folks not want to buy their product--- is all capitalism baby, not UA-cam standards😂
Anything promoting and *MONETIZING* Eating Disorders needs to be ended. I would think Amberlynn would agree to that, on paper. Right? Because she wants to address and end her "eating disorder" that we are all supposed to feel sympathy to her for?
But that only works if she has an eating disorder, which she says she doesn't anymore. She can't have it both ways. She can't MONETIZE it both ways any way.
Either Amberlynn needs to just say she is a glutton and monetize her mukbangs. Or she makes videos where she addresses some kind of eating disorder, that makes her being a deathfat "not her fault. "
Amber keeps flipfloping between equating food addiction with alcohol, drug or smoking cigarettes and food being a necessity.
If food addiction is the same as those other addictions, then obviously monetizing it is wrong and need to be critized. And someone who apparently seem like they have food addiction shouldn't be doing mukbang.
But if food is a necessity thing than Amber shouldn't have a freak out over people sending foods on P.O box because they're obviously just sending her necessity; not fueling her addiction by supplying.

Ffg received a bottle of the spray from one of her subs that lives in Kuwait. She split it up into small vials and is giving it away to people who want it. I know at least one reaction channel asked for a sample and it was sent to them but I'm not sure how much if any is left at this point.

Oud: aromatic wood that is very used in Arabian perfumery. It's absurdly expensive and unless they are sending you the piece of wood itself (even then it could be a fake), it's probably synthetic and will likely smell like burned rubber if not from a good manufacturer.

challenge for alr: going a whole week without filming and talking about food. We can't have her monetizing her bad habits or any positive feelings towards her vices.
so the only other person I've known to have such poor concept of consequences and also such poor 'remembrance' of how past events went was my dad.
He had various undiagnosed conditions, namely ADHD, but most importantly he had a front lobe injury as a teen. He basically went from scrape to scrape getting in trouble, never learning, always stealing and lying and running, literally never able to remember that he'd done this once before and it backfired, always convinced this time it would work, no ability to forsee potential consequences.
Now I have adhd too, passed down from him, and autism from my mother's side (thanks to all involved in my procreation for giving me literally the world's worst blind bag of genetic traits) and I too struggle with not getting carried away with a new novelty idea but I have the ability to remember what happened last time I, for example, bought loads of new art pens because an artist I like used them and I thought it would make me a better artists. I'm on adhd meds which help a lot with various things, but I'm able to stop myself at the checkout basket and go what the fuck am I doing. Literally 2 days ago I stopped myself getting a new line of credit for something I absolutely didn't need because I've been fighting tooth and nail to clear my debt that my adhd ass got myself into. I'm LEARNING or trying to. And genuinely seeing ALR just immediately forget she's done low carb, she's done WW, she's quit weed cause it makes her eat, to justify whatever new novelty she needs instead of getting help is insane. It's like watching my dad chasing every new scheme to get rich that ends in a bar fight and a prison sentence. The man only slowed down at 50 cause his body forced him to, and then he just dropped dead, they think an anuresm but they don't know, but honestly it feels like his brain just clocked out when it realised his body couldn't be used to chase dopamine so well now.
I honestly don't see much of a different future for ALR but I genuinely have to wonder if she's had any kind of similar injury to the one my dad had, though his was visible as he had a dent in the front of his skull, but even minor whiplash can cause frontal lobe injuries. I'm no doctor but I can't help but see both my adhd tendencies in her but magnified to the same degree as my idiot of a father. It has to be either some physical inability to literally recall and learn from mistakes or its some absolutely incredible delusion.
She's mentioned wanting to be tested for adhd before and I do think she has it as she has ALL the hallmarks and I have to remind myself not to take it personally when people joke about her antics that do also show up with adhd (buying lots of things, feeling like things are urgent when they aren't, repeating yourself a lot, 'ramblynn', overeating, over reacting, etc) because I know the difference is she might be doing all of that bc she has undiagnosed adhd but she's also actively looking for excuses that allow her to keep acting this way and lose weight and keep friends/partners, when in reality you can have adhd and not be a total dick 😂
This is long and very tmi about my life and demonstrable of my personal adhd 😂 but god I keep coming back to see your updates because I see an undiagnosed adhd in her but I don't think a diagnosis would actually help her as much as it would give her something else to blame and not work on. I keep hoping she'll get better but she just baffles me more every time

I actually have an issue with Mukbangs in general, but thankfully I'm not an authority on who gets to do what. My issue is that for a platform that loves to censor all kinds of important information, they sure do give a lot of leeway for fet content, and mukbangs definitely drift into that category. Also oud (pronounced ood, the thing Chantal mentioned that you asked about) is a wood used in perfume. It's a sweet woody scent. One of my favorite scent notes, really! It *is* pretty popular in middle eastern perfumes. Personally I think it's *too* sweet on its own so I prefer it blended with something else. Tom Ford's Tobacco Oud and Jo Malone's Oud and Bergamot are couple of scents I'm really into.
