Clotted cream is literally the best. If we had it here id be at least 30lbs heavier.
In Turkey there is kaymak - a traditional dairy product produced from water buffalo milk, very similar to clotted cream. It's usually served with honey as part of a traditional Turkish breakfast. 30lbs heavier sounds about right, possibly an underestimate.

That said the saying goes the Cornish Jam first and then cream and the Devonians cream first (sniggers) and then jam so it could be debated that Florrie isn't a real Devonian but a Cornish spy (there's a faux bitter rivelery between us). Taking locality out of the equation, if you think spreading a highly viscous product on top of a runny product makes sense then I would ask you to step away from the tools and refrain from doing anything DIY related. Think spreading mash potato over soup and see how well that goes.
