no offense but the company not even giving away a few personal licences for the actual service kind of makes me think less of them in general. a 7 day licence seems worthless, at the very least it should have been a year or something imo
None taken :) when dealing with vendors if they reach out I always leave it up to them to decide what it’s worth and then the community gets to decide. This won’t be the only WAF video I make and review so we can see how the other services look in terms of product and support
It's not fair to compare SafeLine Pro with CloudFlare Pro. The features are different. For example, with CF Pro, you should pay extra fee for load balancing, not allowed to Bring Your Own SSL Certificate, Custom WAF Rules limit to 20 (No limit with SafeLine Pro) , no Waiting Room...
It is, but selfhosted and open source everything can be reviewed when you deploy it and you can also check what your service is sending and to who. If there were any greater concerns passed that I’m sure it would be raised. I didn’t want to not review something just because the devs are Chinese
@@jacksoncremean1664 Remember, my channel is revewing selfhostable services :) This is just one of many I plan to review. ModSecurity, Bunker Web and others are on my list
@@ipump3465 if you can show me proof that’s the case I’ll more than happily pull this and follow it up. A lot of people say this but I’m yet to see any proof at all and it’s more just “cause china”
SafeLine do not collect or store any personal data. We explain it clearly in the Software License Agreement for users to agree or not when installing SafeLine.
Im not going to waste my time proving that a Chinese developed software has backdoors and data collection? Their government literally demands it lol if you want to use Chinese software and get your data stolen, your choice 😂😂
Hi mate
This is a great video. It would be great if you could make a video and compare this product with other similar products.
@@aliaghil1 100% I plan to look at Bunker Web and others as well. Just waiting for the update for Bunker web that adds SSL cert generation
Can you make video on how to connect machine using rdp protocol with the help of cloudflare tunneling

CloudFlare WAF $20/month... Plus they are American...
Cloudflare is always a solid choice

@@Techdox why use SafeLine WAF over something reputable like ModSecurity with OWASP CRS?

@safeline_waf yeah because we can trust what a Chinese company says about their data collection right? Lol
Still waiting for that proof :)
