Man that's a blast from the past, i remember playing and liking paraworld when it originally came out
My problem with the 2 hour mission was being pushed off the initial island and rebuilding from there
Actually dustriders are the best team, they have the best epoch 3 units and the 2nd best titan and taslow tower is just simply too op
Im around the 7 minute mark but as someone who will carry the memory of this game to my deathbed i can tell this is a phenomenal video that covers the game in a way that im dissapointed highly with that no one else has.
Thanks for going very in depth with this game and covering the mod thing, stuff like this is just always very usefull if anything for archival and documentation of the game (withouth the need to watch a full LP if you cant play it yourself ) and it shows the love even a not so well known game like this can have.
And the development coverage is always very welcomed as i feel like that is a aspect of review videos thats not coverd as much. This is the first of your videos ive seen and ill be watching some of the others immediately after this but if it tells me anything the content does not reflect your sub count and that is a crying shame.
If i may recommend some things tho
Taking from another video maker i like, putting the sources you used for your research at the end of the credits might be usefull for other ppl should they wish to pursue this sort of stuff.

Civvie11's Doom vids are actually the inspiration for covering the development history. I realized that I knew a lot about some games and their historical context, but I knew almost nothing about their creators themselves. More often than not the stories behind how video games are made are just as fascinating as the games themselves.
That's actually a great suggestion. I hadn't thought about if anyone else might want to follow my path down the rabbit hole. Thanks for that! I'll start adding sources to the credits section from now on.
As far as subs go, its not my worry or my focus. I make these reviews because its my hobby. People other than my friends watching my videos is a bonus to me.
Also not going to lie, it's a little bit surreal to have someone whose content I've enjoyed compliment my own. Feels like a glitch in the matrix lol

Guys like Mandy and Civvie have also inspired me to try and do reviews again(thats roughly how i started ) but right now i should focus on making more of the burgers i know the audience wants before i try that again, as they might take up a good ammount of time, and its pretty much gonna be obscure strategy games like this that i myself wish to cover and talk about.
Always happy to know the stuff i make entertains people. And even more to just randomly encounter on a new channel i discoverd
It's always a better day when a new review of this buried cult favourite comes up! While I do know this game well, this thorough review was an enjoyable listen! ParaWorld may not be perfect, but it was a wonderful escapist entertainment that satiated my love of dinosaurs, ancient historical cultures and fantasy warfare. I wished this became it's own ongoing franchise, but perhaps the best way to honour its memory is to give credit where it is due. The roots of my own sci-fi adventure novel partially come from this weird, wonderful game.
Edit: as a gameplay note, I quickly learned to purchase a slaughterhouse ASAP as the Dustriders, solving my food problems and making gameplay that much more enjoyable, making them my favourite faction in concept and content.
I still has the original CD instalation and I had until 2021 on my PC running te mirage mod.
Will be one of the best Dino Rts and quite unique on its despite the jankyness.
I just hope it has more accessible ( due time and windowns own jankyness is really wacky to install) or a still healthy multiplayer base ( I dont know if is possible to do) but yes great video of great game. ^^
I lost my CD a few years ago, it probably won't run on my PC anyway, still hope I could keep it
I liked the game back at release.
The steam punk faction had a cool look,but the units were too strong.
I wish Paraworld was added to Steam... Im having problems downloading it...

There you should be able to find a downloads section. Scroll up a bit until you find the link for Paraworld 1.05 Patched. Has everything except for mods and localizations. Comes with installation instructions too, but feel free to reach out if you need help.

why sorry, i had play that's game in 2017-2018 long ago.
but not play mods after all, sorry.
I dont really like english dub, I play on Polish version and i think is mouch better (actors have more power in voice,and life)
I'll have to listen to it sometime. Though I'm possibly biased toward the English dub because I'm a fan of Cole's voice actor in general
