Tsilivi beach - Planos - Zakynthos island

Tsilivi also known as Planos , is a village and a tourist resort on the east side of the island of Zakynthos. It is situated about four kilometres northwest of the capital Zakynthos (city). The lively beach resort Tsilivi Beach is part of the community. At the north point of Tsilivi Beach, there exists an old Venetian observatory.
Tsilivi is one of the most important turistic village of the island.
The beach is long, with fine sand and an extremely slow entry into the water, very good for small children.
But, although it offers a multitude of sunbeds and umbrellas, the town is extremely crowded. Effectively after 11.00 you won't find a single free sunbed and there isn't much room on the sand either.
Otherwise, the place is attractive, there are many attractions on and near the beach, taverns, water sports. different entertainments for all ages, but for me it is far too crowded, so I left in a short time to a much emptier and more attractive beach for me (Ampoula beach- Tragaki - a few km further north)

I could answer you, but I don't know the answer because I haven't found a single free sunbed. It's so crowded that if you arrive after 10:00 am...it's all useless...a large part of the sunbeds belong to the big hotels on the beach...the rest are too few and not enough even for those staying at guesthouses...In the rest of the island, a pair of deckchairs and an umbrella cost on average between 10 and 20 euros last year
