I have the mini baguette in the embossed leather in a fun lollypop pink color, from a few years ago. I absolutely love it, it’s a go to bag for me. I love that the bag is so squishy too, I keep touching it whenever I wear it. And it fits a surprising amount of items, definitely fits all my daily essentials.

I had the original Papillon with the baby Papillon (bought separately). I wanted that bag since the early 80s. When I finally got it I realized it was not for me. I am definitely a shoulder carry kind of girl and the new version just worked better for me. So I got that. Can’t say I have used it much but you have now inspired me to do so. The baby Papillon and the mini pouchette I call my “granddaughter bags”. I don’t have granddaughters yet but I can imagine them walking around the house with them on their little shoulders. The thought cracks me up 😂
Mini, great video as usual. It seems like so many of my bags come from your recommendations: the side trunk, Neverfull BB, midi Mayfair and all of my MJ totes. My big buy for last year was the GO-14 in the brown and I love it! This year I’m lusting over the Rose Des Vents mini in the Bordeaux ostrich. I did buy the On-The-Go pm in the black empreinte leather and ended up returning it bc it was really so similar to my Marc Jacobs small totes that I knew I wouldn’t reach for it as much as it deserved. Of course, I couldn’t just return a bag…I ended up walking out with a shawl and the Croisette in DE. Thanks so much for your great content and never ending positivity ❤

I love the Mini Baguette also on my wish list in the fabric. I have the small OTG and I never wear it cause it is too open. The neverfull is different. The OTG Is smaller and suggest you get an organizer that has a closing zipper. You can’t leave anything “loose” the bag. So I never wear it. Just my personal opinion. I am more comfortable with handbags that have a proper closure.
I had the same struggle re the mini baguette pricing! I wanted the zucca print but it annoyed me that it was the same price as the nappa leather version... But in the end I just loved the look of the zucca print in the mini, and pulled the trigger on it a couple of weeks ago. And since it was the only bag on my wishlist atm, my list was complete in January 😅

However, they had the blue damier pop speedy 25 bandouliere and I couldn’t take my eyes off of it so that is what I ended up with. I’ll go in a few weeks for my monogram speedy and I have to admit, I’m surprised that I love the 25 size. I’ll also be getting the Atlantis GM at some point and another pochette Métis. The leather is so buttery smooth and for everyday i carry it via crossbody and it’s so comfortable. I am on the hunt for the black and white houndstooth tweed mini but no luck (at a good price at least. Haha) and i am also like you that whenever i carry a big bag, i wanna bring my whole house in it. Hahahaha. It’s always the “i might need it” or “it’better that i bring it just in case” hahahaha

I just sold the Fendi Baguette Mini in Leather. It was TOO soft, kind of hard to open and close because the magnet is so strong and the leather is so soft. The corners might get color transfer on the white so easily. It would never stand up on my shelf (which isn't a deal breaker, but annoying). I think you will love the fabric, you already like the print, and it goes so well with casual outfits and black.
The buttery softness of the leather is exactly what I love about my light pink one, but I can totally see what you’re saying about it not standing up on its own, unlike the classic one.
I’ve owned the Onthego in both MM and GM and I have to say, the empreinte leather in those larger bag sizes does not wear very well. In less than 6 months my GM looked pretty saggy despite using and organizer/shaper and stuffing it. I thought the MM would be better and honestly it was not. I think the PM would be best because it’s quite a bit smaller. In summary, I’d avoid this bag in larger sizes in the leather unless you don’t mind it looking quite worn in.
I try to explain to my husband why I still need one more. But I realize now, I'm addicted. There really is no explanation! Ha! I have a speedy 25 in damier azur and I am ready to go and use it.

now the question is, does the on the go have competition with the new leather Dior book tote? my main focus is the chanel 19, i want a black one but trying to decide if i want the med or large. another is a green CF, i am obsessed with the 21 C min green. now i just need to find it in a med and then decide if i want it lamb or caviar.
That’s exactly what I went to scope out, OTG vs. Book Tote leather. The book tote is more lightweight and I prefer the details on it BUT LV has the edge when it comes to execution of the design, especially the interior. Good luck on deciding and I hope you get exactly what you’re looking for ♥️

Hi Babe! I just got confirmation from my SA, the Side Trunk in DA is vernis 😭 I’m devastated!! Light vernis is prone to yellow and with a $4450 price tag, I don’t think I want to risk it.

I just sold the Fendi Baguette Mini in Leather. It was TOO soft, kind of hard to open and close because the magnet is so strong and the leather is so soft. The corners might get color transfer on the white so easily. It would never stand up on my shelf (which isn't a deal breaker, but annoying). I think you will love the fabric, you already like the print, and it goes so well with casual outfits and black.
The buttery softness of the leather is exactly what I love about my light pink one, but I can totally see what you’re saying about it not standing up on its own, unlike the classic one.

I’ve owned the Onthego in both MM and GM and I have to say, the empreinte leather in those larger bag sizes does not wear very well. In less than 6 months my GM looked pretty saggy despite using and organizer/shaper and stuffing it. I thought the MM would be better and honestly it was not. I think the PM would be best because it’s quite a bit smaller. In summary, I’d avoid this bag in larger sizes in the leather unless you don’t mind it looking quite worn in.

On the LV on the go, I can’t get past the naked baby color of that one 😬. The side trunk is super cool- I’m thinking about black emprente leather on that one.
now the question is, does the on the go have competition with the new leather Dior book tote? my main focus is the chanel 19, i want a black one but trying to decide if i want the med or large. another is a green CF, i am obsessed with the 21 C min green. now i just need to find it in a med and then decide if i want it lamb or caviar.
That’s exactly what I went to scope out, OTG vs. Book Tote leather. The book tote is more lightweight and I prefer the details on it BUT LV has the edge when it comes to execution of the design, especially the interior. Good luck on deciding and I hope you get exactly what you’re looking for ♥️

I'im so with you on the DA side trunk! I can't seem to find any details on it though. I heard somewhere that it's leather, not canvas. And I think I even heard somewhere that it's Vernis. (?? that seems wrong?) If it's canvas I'm all over it! Also the Fendi mini baguette - I'm just waiting for the right one to come along!
Hi Babe! I just got confirmation from my SA, the Side Trunk in DA is vernis 😭 I’m devastated!! Light vernis is prone to yellow and with a $4450 price tag, I don’t think I want to risk it.
