@@tombuddy100It makes sense. If union failed once, will fail again under the same conditions. Cyprus problem costs Turkiye way more than benefit from it, but they cannot be blind while Turks are dying there, especially if they are one of the guarantors to prevent it. Enosis was the root cause of the problem and there is no solution unless Greek side decide to get rid of those flawed thoughts about they’re the only owners of the island. For a real solution, Cypriot Greeks and Turks must find common ground by dividing the land with both agreed way to create federal states and live happily in their zone without trying to spread outside and without enosis/taksim ideas.

Answer these questions to solve the Cyprus problem:
    1. Do we need the Greek and Turkish armies on the island to protect the citizens of Cyprus or should we abolish them?
    2. Can Greek and Turkish Cypriots form one mixed Cyprus army and police?
    3. The population in 1974 was 78.9% Greek-Cypriots and 18.4% Turkish Cypriots Which is better for both sides? Let the majority of people make decisions or make it 50-50 between Greek and Turkish Cypriots?
    4. What will happen with the real estate of Greek and Turkish Cypriots which has been used by other people after 1974?

Yes, since 1963, the Greeks did not kill the Turks on the island, TURKS went their graves on their own really?, my friend, you need to learn a little bit about the recent history of Cyprus, but as a source, not Greek lies, but the truth…
My friend, the Cyprus issue cannot be understood without knowing these points first.
1- The Cyprus Convention, Cyprus Treaty or Cyprus Convention, was signed on 4 June 1878, by the Treaty of Berlin, granting temporary control of the island of Cyprus to Great Britain
2- The Treaty of Zurich and London is the agreement signed among the United Kingdom, Turkey and Greece and the Greek Cypriots and Turkish communities in Cyprus on 11 February 1959, determining the status of the people of Cyprus as an independent state and approving the constitution of the Republic of Cyprus.
3- Bloody Christmas is the conflict that started between the Greek Cypriots and the Turkish Cypriots on the island of Cyprus on the night of December 20-21, 1963.
4- ENOSIS The unification of Cyprus with Greece, making it a purely “Hellenic” island
5- EOKA-B (Greek: Εθνική Οργάνωσις Κυπρίων Αγωνιστών)
      6- The AKRITAS PLAN
7- July 15, 1974 Nikos Sampson coup The events and facts mentioned in the above articles must be known well.
Türkiye intervened legally in Cyprus as a guarantor country and did NOT OCCUPY the island. If the Greeks and the Greek Cypriots had not pursued their ENOSIS dreams, there would have been no problems. The Greek soldiers and the Greek civilians paid the price for the mistakes of Greek politicians. From Türkiye's perspective, the Cyprus problem has been partially solved. Now they live in peace and security. There has not been a single armed conflict on the island since 50 years.

One, these people were never in any point in time, Muslim.
Two, these people were not Turks. They are Greeks by blood and language, but were simply kicked out from their church by other Greeks for cooperating with the Ottomans. They wanted to reconvert to orthodoxy during the British era but were denied by the Orthodox priests.
This made them very bitter and angry towards the Greeks. During that time, Turkey was secularizing and the main identity in Turkey shifted from just Muslim to Turkish. So these crypto Christians began to adopt Turkishness to add to their distinctiveness from the Greeks, despite still not being able to communicate in Turkish. The British helped them by bringing teachers from Turkey. They also forced Turkey's hand by making them a "guarantor" despite the fact that the then isolationist Turkey declaring there was no "Cyprus issue" from their point of view. Enosis was of course a natural aspiration of the Greeks in Cyprus. The linobambaki were against it. So their newfound "Turkish" identity gave them the necessary ground to call upon Turkey for help. But today, simply go and ask any TC if they identify as a Muslim or a Turk. They will simply say they're "Cypriot". Not Turk or Muslim. In fact they eat more pork than the Greeks and maintain that the Greeks are their only brothers. Turks are simply filthy and ugly barbarians to them.

Homer mentions Cyprus in Iliad....with Greek names. No mentioning of Turks who didn't exist in the area. Cyprus is Greece!

In two Attila "peace operations" in 1974, "Turkiye" invaded first to restore constitution, and then second time to establish foothold, and ensure occupation and permenent division of Republic of Cyprus.

The 1974 invasion was a mistake. Coming to the aid of crypto-christian, fake Turks, shedding our blood for these ingrates...it was a travesty. One drop of Turkish blood is worth more than all these linobambaki combined!
