Thank you for telling us how to properly cook the noodles...
Dad really exposing all our Chinese restaurant secrets hahaha
My dad learned years ago. We used to go to an amazing open air Chinese market. Coolest place I had been to as a child. The owner there used to give us salted plums as a treat.
I really like your channel and love seeing your Dad in the videos. He brings a special touch.
All the best to you and your family
This was a mystery to me for years. Now I have the answer. Thank you!
Big fan of your Dad’s cooking! Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing, next time I will try steam the noodle before fry.
I love beqn sprout with noodles.
I never knew about steaming them!!!! I bet the texture is better rather than boiling it 😳
I just bought some chow mein noodles because they looked really good (they are), but I don't know much about chinese or asian cooking in general so I pretty much just make a version of teriyaki chicken and veggies and added it on top of the noodles. Probably not the most traditional dish but it tasted so good
Ohhh good tips thanks👍
Thank you very much I’m gonna make them for my mother and wife 😊
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I’ve been seeking the correct way to prepare these for I can’t tell you how long!!!! I know what’s for dinner. Grin!
I love lo mein noodles.

Thank you for the receipy. In my father side of family, chowman is a must on the table.i will finaly be able to do it correctly thank you 😃👍
Wow,I'm from Hawaii and loved those plate lunches with these fab noodles
And not only that the noodles will also absorb the sauces and flavour much better with this process than the soggy ones
I only knew to cook it with soups. Good to know it's friedable. Thanks
Damn that looks so good
Yummy my favorite type of noodles 🥳
I love these noodles
Notice most restaurants don’t make them in the 216
Fortunately you are showing me how to
Now I need Asian cook ware and spice’s
Thank you
I love this type of noodle prep. The worst I had was the filipino chow mien version. The noodles are too soft or even soggy. I dont like it when I see chef making their fried noodle by adding water to soften it first.
My god, been eating and loving chow mein forever now and only finding out it is made from a separate type of noodles. Will be hard to find them in Kazakhstan though
Yuummmm!!!!
Love this noodle but never tastes the same when I cook at home
What brand and where can I buy them?
In Kolkata we call fried noodles chow mein. Never realised the link.
How do you make them crispy?
Who are just fallen in love with ramen 🍜, and want everything as ramen 😋

Saying chow mein noodles is like saying nasa agency.
Colander. Hayaaa!!
Uncle Roger
So no more boiling time to start steaming
It's Zhao mian
I really wonder how the word went from Chao mian to Chow mein hahaha
OMG I’ve been doing everything wrong 🥺
Why is it when I order Chow Mein , it doesn't have noodles in it. The Chinese owner says that Chow Mein does not have noodles. If I want noodles , I have to order Lo Mein. I'm so confused
made with lau, eat with chow and drink with wong.
I tried making these a while ago I think I put too much Oyster sauce
🤤
He could pick up lava, those noodles were steaming for 15 minutes and he just picks them up with his bare fingers
TOO OG
I’ve looked all over for this type of noodle. HEEEELLLLP

Chowmein is not Chinese. Its Indian.
The community that owns this cultural was kicked out of China due to socialism and Indian gave them asylum.
I HATE how 8n thailand people just boiled them or worse just cook it will out boiled. It have a bad texture and weir after taste.

I was born in a pretty culturally uninteresting country, so I always like looking at other culture’s traditions, foods, and customs, so I would like to thank you for showing your culture’s culinary dishes. Have a great day!
