Great job; clear and concise; easy to follow, especially the actual song excerpts during the lesson; helped me so much in crafting my cover; It's certainly not a cover w/o Steve Cropper's amazing blues licks; simple but beautiful; it's always harder to compose something taseful, thoughtful and melodic -- as opposed to simply "shredding" repititious riffs as fast as you can.

Excellent tutorial Super clear. I'm 70 and this great song flew into my head last night. He had a different version, I'm sure you know, where it's just an acoustic guitar. The cropper version is the one I recall (I've played guitar over 50 years) and I like both versions. I wonder....was that Otis playing acoustic, or an earlier version with Cropper? Anyway, no matter, thanks much!
There are several different versions out there by Otis and Steve. One was played on electric and another played on what sounds like an acoustic. Great job; clear and concise; easy to follow, especially the actual song excerpts during the lesson; helped me so much in crafting my cover; It's certainly not a cover w/o Steve Cropper's amazing blues licks; simple but beautiful; it's always harder to compose something taseful, thoughtful and melodic -- as opposed to simply "shredding" repititious riffs as fast as you can.

Excellent tutorial Super clear. I'm 70 and this great song flew into my head last night. He had a different version, I'm sure you know, where it's just an acoustic guitar.
The cropper version is the one I recall (I've played guitar over 50 years) and I like both versions. I wonder....was that Otis playing acoustic, or an earlier version with Cropper? Anyway, no matter, thanks much!
There are several different versions out there by Otis and Steve. One was played on electric and another played on what sounds like an acoustic. I have published the lesson on acoustic and electric guitar.
