Hey Paul, for the goats you could dig a large deep hole (depending on the ground water level) or a long trough and fill it with gravel to help a little with drainage. The soil you dig out can then be used to make a few more high points in the enclosure and/or perhaps create a higher track for them when it is flooding. Just a thought :)
@@MaxJak11 He fills the hole with gravel. The water goes down it easier like a natural drain. So there's no hole, there's a like a patch of gravel that goes down into the ground.
Hey Paul! Please keep a check on the goats' hooves. They can get sores, and they can quickly overtake their hooves. Just keep them trimmed and checked. 😊 Love your channel!
@@MaryFey-zr4nb yah it’s called thrush and it’s sucks to take care of! I love his channel but something needs to change for his animals. We are in rainy season and the goats small space is going to keep flooding. There’s ways to fix this and should be done.
@@ChillX12 well its why u build it properly above ground level so it just drain water got the same stuff in my back yard used to floor all the time now it doesn't been 5 years still not clogged leafs get stuff on it sometimes but thats easily removed
There were a few comments on the goat enclosure…putting in a French drain along that enclosure will pull the water to where you want it to go, ie the pond. Can get it done with all the landscaping you have coming up. Also, when you dig out that pond to put a liner in it, you can make it deeper to hold the water run off on your property.
I love the look of the decking it really makes it all pop. Yes definitely get an under water camera it would be cool in both ponds especially the reef pond
Paul I don't know if you will see this but you promised daddy fin that you would get Scott the puffer fish and put him in the salt water pond after you got it up and it is up so when will you do it also I love you daddy fin and uncle Ben love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Idea for a project, dig 3-4ft pit in the goat enclosure, build a big floating floor for the goats to have an area kept Mostly dry and have a mini dirty pond under the goats with all sorts of small bait style fish?
If you put fruit trees in the goats area it will help with the water problem and feed them. Plus it will produce leaf waste which will help build soil and help hold it there . I also thought about maybe a time lapse of the reef tank or like a live of it so we can watch it for more then a couple mins that would be sick
Paul, you should have Hector trench some drainage pipes surrounded with gravel in the areas that keep collecting water so you can direct that water right off the property. But everything is looking great brother. Hope you’re having a blessed day.
Wow, besides my beloved mono's this guy is amazing. He is very interesting for sure. Leo is looking fire and so is his enclosure. I think the fly river loves all his new sand to play in. I'm looking forward to the pool update video. The feeding of Gio's birthday leftovers was really fun. Hi Jed, your popping up everywhere lately, nice. Paul, I forgot to mention to you regarding API stress coat. A huge amount of people all over the world use this product in the water, for watering plants. Indoor tropical plants. I just got into the hobby and found this out on line and it really saves plants from all the bad stuff in the water. I just wanted you to now. The company could really put this on their label if they realized. Love and Peace.
Hi Paul I think it would be a good idea to get a moat going round the garden for the said to trickle into it ❤❤ and then all the animals can have a mini river in the enclosures 😊😊😊
Hey mn i am finally back after the hurricane that hit my country jamaica i didn't have any electricity for a while finally back to watch your videos now
Paul please throw some hermit crabs in there it would be interesting to see them use the empty shells. Also maybe live stream of just the reef tank maybe??
Watching again, lol. I really like where you moved the snake plant, it looks good there. That frees up the whole upper deck to do something shark wild. The scape in the shark pond looks amazing through the window and I think we are all waiting on them to arrive. What excitement Paul. A night time underwater camera sounds very interesting. Did I mention I love Brenten and Jayquan. lol He's naked again and that great laugh. Your new blue lobster is super cool. Excellent camera footage of him in your hand and his release. It's going to be insane to see lobsters in the shark tank in the future. Thanks, great video. Peace.
I would look into a dry well drain system for the enclosures, maybe combined with a French drain system too. Other idea I had was a video doing a generator backup for all of the ponds. ESP with hurricane season.
