On today’s episode of the Movie Trivia Schmoedown, Clarke Wolfe of the Fyffe Club and The Shirewolves tag team takes on Mike “KO” Kalinowski in a number one contenders match for Samm Levine Schmoedown Singles Championship. There’s a lot going on with this one, people. Clarke Wolfe is in this position thanks to her manager Emma Fyffe who won the right to put any of her fighters in a #1 Contenders Match for any title. She chose Clarke and they set about picking a contender in the top 10 to place her against in the hopes that she might win the match easily and head onto a championship match. The KO Kalinowski did not take kindly to being selected as the “easy” prey and after his stunning loss in the triple threat match against Rachel Cushing and JTE, he is out to prove something to the Schmoedown world. Who will win in this clash of possible champions. Whose championship destiny will be one step closer to being realized after this match? This one has the potential for some great back and forth verbally as well as a tightly contested battle. See who will be left standing at the end and serving notice to the rest of the league that they are championship material.

mike is honestly one of my favorites because he is not like a Dan Murrel who is just a mashine which becomes boring after a while and he is not a troll. But he has still alot of personality and it is honestly just fun to watch. So i hope he gets his headspace in the right direction and doesn't care so much about who is saying what and who is writing what because it would be a shame to lose him

Match of the year for me so far. Both competitors played at a championship level in this one. Love them both and didn’t want either to lose.
I really think they need to start turning matches for title shots into 5 rounds. Get the winner ready for the speed round.

That's like saying Jeopardy has nothing to do with knowledge. The championship match should be longer and have more skill involved. The speed round tests recall and anticipation. It leaves less up to the fate of the wheel which is why Mike lost today.
Makes sense. Gives people a chance to practice with the buzzers and betting rounds before the championship.
Mike, you fought bravely. You fought for every point and should be proud of your performance. I wanted to see Clarke succeed for sure, but know that I'm also in your corner. You're a good player. Keep fighting.

Took me a while to get it though I recognized it immediately. Great song.
Did not expect it to be so close. These are 2 of the most likeable people in the Schmoedown, so pretty much anyone winning was a win.
However, I hope Mike is not gonna lose his smile after this, because that was a KILLER performance (pun intended), never seen him so laser-focused.

Even match. Both Mike and Clarke know equal amounts of movie trivia. Came down to luck of the wheel and questions. Hard to root against Clarke, but felt for Mike who would've won had Clarke not hit Horror where she was a perfect 8 for 8 points.
