That’s has to be one of the best cliffhanger endings ever, Can’t wait for part 2
19:56 RACEGROOVES MENTIONED 🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥
My god I remember the good days of racegrooves
Only OGs remember the HotWheels diecast days of Monster Jam. Kids today don't know what the diecast toys we had when we were young.
Ehhh tbh I love the spin master ones more then the hot wheels one especially the Accurate Max D and Goldberg body and not the abomination that they did lol. I do like their avenger body better though and not the og bounty hunter and scarlet bandit, but the remake ones from like 2008-2010 with the ford shape body. I miss those ones only. I also like how spin master shows detail in the chassis and include a driver which funny enough as a kid I always wished the driver was there😭
Only true diecasts I miss or dubs, muscle machines and revel low riders. And a few OG nascar but that’s just cause I’m nostalgic for the older stock car body😂
I remember them strongly! I still own a lot of them and im planning on buying more!
This was the diecast era of monster trucks before we have what we have today
🫡
Great documentary Jackson! I agree, the blue car body is also my favorite looking Hot Wheels design, but the Firestorm body on Neil's Max D chassis is a close second! I can't wait for Part 2!
As a hot wheels collector, i appreciate this truck so much. Its good to see its getting some recognition. Also i bet you without this company joining the mj business, you wouldn't have had a good childhood. ❤
I’ve had some of the diecast trucks from Hot Wheels and still do today. It always brings back those times where hot wheels rules Monster Jam back then
14 hours of driving across my own state in Australia. Good way to end the night dude. Can we one day get an evolution of outback Thunda or even just Aussie trucks man!
Aussie Battler would be awesome. I've wondered what became of it since I saw a clip of it on "War of the Monster Trucks" and "BIGFOOT King of the Monster Trucks" VHS tapes.
The Hot Wheels truck was cool, but I like what Spinmaster did, where they actually adapted one of their properties into a monster truck.
Yeah but it’s ugly
Scott Buetow is the best driver of all iterations of hot wheels
I've got a fun story involving Rob Knell when he drove H W. Day before the show, he had the truck on display at an auto parts shop so I stopped for a look. Inside, there was a selection of M J trucks, but no H W. I mentioned it to Rob, who laughed and said" I don't have one either, and I drive it!" Turned out Rob collected them too. Later that evening, wife and I hit several different stores and found 2. Next day, we presented Rob one of the trucks and he lit up like it was Christmas. He asked what he owed us, We responded with "Nothing, just sign mine." which he did. A Fun guy and a total class act. I was very sorry to hear of his passing, but will always remember how cool he helped make our M J experience. R.I.P. Rob Knell.
Hot wheels should've never left Monster Jam
This truck was awesome!!!
You gotta do the evolution of the sign up series. That would be pretty dope tbh.
Lol
4:34 I miss this truck
Now all we need is a grave digger history video
We already have one
@@BossedOutYT No we don't not from monstertalk he did a best retired grave digger chassis but not a history video
@jynaenae I just realized that, apologies
Maybe Samson too
If an evolution video was made for GD, It would have to be split into like 2 or 3 parts since there's like 30+ versions
Luved Hotwheels Monster Truck It Kicked Ass!!! That One World Finals He Did 3 Backflips & Didn't Win BS!!!!!
I literally got an ad from monster jam themselves right before this vid
27:31 facts this is my favorite of the firestorm designs, probably because it’s the only one I’ve seen live
One truck that never gets enough attention that i wish you could do a video on is the evolution of WILD THANG
I actually like to call the “Slime” design the “Acid Dipped” design.
LOL 15:26 yeah I kind of had that same problem
So, THAT'S why I like Race Ace so much...
Nice but that ending Part 2 man what we fans didn't know!
They gave him fuel.
They gave him fire.
they gave him dabajazaba.
I wasn’t lucky enough to see this truck live but I had all of the trucks merch
I went too the Chicago Museum of Natural History and experienced the Monster Jam exhibit they had. It was badass, that Hot Wheels truck was amazing. Glad I got too see it race in 2006 MJ World finals when he flipped in racing.
Stone Crusher still has the HW design even on the Spin Master Toy.
I'll be honest: I loved every iteration of the Hot Wheels Monster Jam truck. My favorite original Hot Wheels design is either the first design (nicknamed Firestarter) or the World Finals 5 design (nicknamed Heat Wave).
Beat that!
Finally! Another evolution video ❤
W video
Hotwheels went from Bigfoot back to Bigfoot.
Would love to see you do an evolution episode on Bigfoot
Honestly surprised they dint make a World Race and Acceleracers themed Hot Wheels Monster Truck.
Does the rivited from 2011 count?
@@Thatsmashguy27 that never became a real truck so i dont think so.
Don’t forget the cancelled Bret “The Hitman” Hart truck from 2000! Also, for those wondering why 2002-2007 front engine Hot Wheels never performed well, it’s because it was basically spare and broken parts of MAX-D. If MAX-D broke, they’d get parts from Hot Wheels, and give that truck the worn out and broken parts. Can’t wait for part 2!
The short wheelbased yellow Inferno chassis is actually Grace Digger #3 chassis. So it's way more than 16 years of running that chassis
For what day the part 2?
The 2005 hot wheels was and still is one of my favorite trucks in the sport
I miss the Hotwheels truck and Buetow so much. He was one of my favorite drivers
Thank you
Bro Arachnaphobia! i had that diecast as a kid and never knew what it was from! Seeing it brought me so far back
Very lucky to see this truck in the 2015-18 Santa Clara events.
When you talked about the first 4 hot wheels monster jam trucks, I was laughing when you showed the prices were because I got a Goldberg truck at a flea market for $5
W
I think I just realized that the Hot Wheels truck that debuted at WF5 with the new scheme was the Bob & Tom Body with the blue flames added on top of it
I actually have over 400 Die-Casts of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks. This just proves I'm an old man .-.
3:36: Nice lol
Hot Wheels looks good on Inferno’s chassis.
Evolution of monster jam diecast?
Couple of things
Regarding WF5, and I'm probably in the minority on this, but I honestly believe Elliott should have won freestyle that year. Hell, you go back and watch the broadcast If you have YT membership to Monster Jam's UA-cam, and when Elliott's scores came up Scott Douglass's reaction said it all, he was scored way too low. Arguably the most consistent run that whole night, and it had plenty of moments, compared to the three drivers who tied for the win who all really just had 1 big moment in runs that were otherwise mid.
As for Buetow's 3-backflip run, the issue there is there's nothing really memorable in that run BESIDES the three backflips. Part of that is the fact that the truck died and had to get re-fired early on, but compare his run to Charlie Paulken's the year prior. Paulken makes a huge first hit, truck dies at the other end of the floor, he refires it, backs up, nails a backflip, and basically goes balls to the wall the rest of the run, in a run that I argue should have won when compared to what Mike Vaters Jr. did. Buetow simply focused on keeping the truck intact enough to do all three backflips, and that's about it. (The irony is he has a WF freestyle run from a couple years before this one where, tbh, he has an argument to walk away with the championship from it, but that's just imo)
For World Finals 5 either Hot Wheels, Bounty Hunter, or King Krunch should’ve won. If Meents’ truck didn’t break or if they didn’t shut Koehler off, one of them probably would have ran away with it.
@@theskicker8856 Koehler wasn't gonna win WF5, believe he had issues that cost him but I might be mistaking that for the year before
All in all you make good points
@@AlanNadeauIII I heard (it may be true it may not) but they shut Koehler off, for the sake of having “the first and only 3 way tie”. But either way the judges that year were horrible.
@@theskicker8856 I mean, that's possible, but it definitely seemed like something broke
@@AlanNadeauIII good point. Who knows.
Can't wait see you next time
When’s part 2?
I am not a big fan of the monster jam so I still am a nice fan
man finding out Hot Wheels Firestorm competed twice in Mexico and I missed it both times makes me sad lol
Honestly I think Scott is the greatest driver never to win a world championship I mean he’s got really close and did good in every event he was at
What happened to part two
28:15 Velocity X goes hard in the background
Yay ❤😊
Old school hot wheels and firestorm will always be superior
I miss the old blue one the black & white logo
Hot wheels is the best feld monster truck in monster jam history
Im lucky 🍀 to still have a long carded Goldberg still in the package 😏
The 2011 monster truck. Is. The. Gato as well. With. 2018 fav
I think Hot Wheels wanted to withdraw the contract yet couldn't admit it at the same time. The design team has more freedom now, with them making new tires, roll cages, and some new, but rather odd looking, concept trucks. Seeing as Spin Master has greater influence on Monster Jam's competition and merchandise activities than Hot Wheels ever had, and with the fact that Spin pumps out close to half a dozen 20 dollar superstore exclusives every year and the thematic series, Monster Jam probably went with Spin for more products. Therefore, Hot Wheels retaliated with their own tour based on the toys.
Gaithersburg show 2 results
2 wheel - Toxic
Racing - Jurassic Attack
Freestyle - Stinger Unleashed
Overall - Jurassic Attack
I was at show one. I was still local for show two, but had to get back to the place I was staying at. Looked insane
Where is part 2 at?
Please make a dinosaur monster truck evolution video
WHEN IS PART 2 COMING PUT!?
They need to bring back wheel covers
When is part 2?????
10:23 Oh brother this guy STINKS!
I still collect hot wheels cars to this day
Do not tell me you think the european version of Inferno is worse than the 2004 version!
4:08 Holiday Racing meme truck
I like spin master toys but hot wheels was a stronger dealership with monster jam and I saw the hot rod truck in Houston 2018
I saw Hot Wheels in Glendale 2018
Btw guys, you can buy you're hot wheel monster truck in Florida Orlando today :)😊😊😊
You need a video talking about the recent maxd stuff cause now Cotys driving it but idk if it’s permanent….
Max-D’s gone after this year. Until WF and then it’s out
22:38 saw them once in a top gear philippines highlight video
Grave digger 3 disrespect is crazy
yooo
I own 2012 Team Hot Wheels and the 50 year anniversary truck all in 1:64 and a mini hotwheels monster jam toy
I understand as a Thomas and friends fan and hot wheels fan, 2018 wasn't that good of a year for mattel people said they made some bad and lazy choices for some of their brands Thomas the tank engine being a good example and the split up between mattel and monster jam reminds me of divorce but I like to think 2019 to now was starting to pick the company back up with new management and they seem to be doing better since 2019.
*hot wheels stunt truck challenge*
Where's part 2?
He already uploaded it.
@@ScreaminD200 oh
HOT WHEELS CHEAT THAT

ENIWACHUWANTRU
Ze’d fhyy😊😅😮🎉 ❤😂🎉😮😅
Meh hot wheels monster truck...... forever the partnership hot wheels monster jam..... nothing will change that's why iam retired of collecting.
For a diecast company based on speed. These trucks sucked at racing lol.
But hot wheels is also about doing stunts which is exactly what they are good at
@@SharkRacer5 true as well. But think about it HW winning racing is cooler to me than hot wheels winning freestyle. Like I don’t think he listed off one racing victory to the teams credit. Much like how the HW Nascar never won squat. Much like the HW SST truck didn’t win. I’m just saying they don’t hire racers apparently
Oh not to mention they had Danica Patrick and Kyle petty repping them so they definitely were not going for racing Ws
Oh crap, i have the first grave digger die cast from 2000, I wonder how much it’s worth it’s always been one of my favorites.
