My heart leap when I watch this..the little boy tied in that bag looking thing and going across with his dad look scary...as a matter of fact it's scary all around.. hearing how that Lady speaks of her husband's death and listening that man speaks of those who fell so many feet on that road 😮😢
Love from Kenya 💞💞. The coca leaves are similar to miraa(khat) that we have in the eastern side of Kenya. I wish you can come and do a documentary on the miraa vehicles as they head to the market.
The sound the cables make is like space lazers in the movies 🤣. So many amazing hard working people all over the planet doing what it takes to get the job done. 👏
@@howlinwulf lol I came to say the exact same thing, that the blaster sounds in star wars were modified recordings of the sound guys tapping on high tension metal cables
I have a fear of height as well, but between hiking for hours or ride the cables, I'd have to overcome my fear. Pretend it's an amusement ride or something.
number 766 from tanzania :) Many will comment on how fun it must be to fly like them but they forget that they will need to climb a mountain to reach the ropes ;)
Though they have to travel through a hard journey. They are not complaint. They look happy instead. Good life God bless you all brothers and sisters ❤️❤️ from India
No sé cómo llegué a éste reportaje pero, ya hasta dio mareo, qué peligroso es éste camino...acá en México no hay caminos así, pero hay más peligros, acá te atoran los cárteles y...adiós!!!
Got this weird feeling those zipline guys. Seeing how they live. Are they more happy than me in my central heated house with everything voice controled baths saunas tv in every room. But still 9 hours of work a day for me to earn that. Seeing their view and their live. Are we over here more happy or are they living free.
Generic pulleys used as cable rollers, these pulleys don't have bearings and are not designed for high RPM workload, a single bolt bears all the friction, heat and load and that too without proper lubrication. . .I wouldn't take a ride on one of those things no matter how much anyone offers me . . . It's like a written disaster waiting to happen.
In the late 80s I hung out in the La Paz district for a few months,, everyone thought that I was this gringo millionaire lol cause I drove a new Nissan Pathfinder and had bags n bags of money 🤑💰💰💰 Coco leaves rock!!
"His body was shattered... his guts were splattered everywhere. It was horrible."... Yeah, I'll say! Holy shit, man, I feel sorry for that lady. Based on how she described it, it sounds like she saw the aftermath of her husband's death with her own eyes. That said, the fact that the narrator said there have been only 3 deaths in the last 20 years--mostly due to negligence--actually seems like a pretty good safety record for that ramshackle cable system.
Ups to these people, that would be scary...string hold the bolts in place lol...fabric knots to hold ya to the pulley lol...where's the safety inspector lol
Christ the inventor ain't Thug Theory.. Respect Hence, The guy who stuck on the middle of the rope was so happy responding that is was twice not only one..😆
The first thing id do is move away from that place and settle near the town area , near enough that I won't have to travel like shit but also far enough that I am not anywhere in and around the twon or city area and I can work or farm as usual and don't have to pay for shit but also near enough that it only takes me a few hours to reach the outskirts of the town. (Outskirts of towns or cities are so far off from the center that it feels like we are in another town itself and when I travel a few hours from the outskirts of the town and not the main town or centre of the town now im far enough from the husel and bussel of the town but near enough that I don't have to travel for days to sell my products
Love that drivers wife tossing boulders around.. that's a good girl... need em like that up in the USA... and Joey B says c'mon in.... great vid kid thanks
Alhamdulillah,Praise be only for Allah, that create this beautiful world with so rich natural resources. people must manage this nature well. love for all creatures

Total respect to these humble hard working people. I can relate to them to some degree, as I came from poor agrarian family.
Hardworking fathers salute...

Love from Philipines..i respect people of BOLIVIA.
The sound the cables make is like space lazers in the movies 🤣. So many amazing hard working people all over the planet doing what it takes to get the job done. 👏
That's how they made the star wars effects in the beginning.
It's probably sampled now using digital technology.
@@howlinwulf lol I came to say the exact same thing, that the blaster sounds in star wars were modified recordings of the sound guys tapping on high tension metal cables
I can't even look down from tall building balcony, let alone this high. It's scary.
I have a fear of height as well, but between hiking for hours or ride the cables, I'd have to overcome my fear. Pretend it's an amusement ride or something.
Love the part where they bless the Volvo with beer and burn candy as an offering to the Gods! Deadliest journeys is one of my favorite shows!

A man that could neither read nor write came up with the ingenious cable pulley transportation system. Incredible!
A man of genius.
How lucky we are...or are we. Seems like these dudes know what life is.
I respect the people of Bolivia
I can sense how much thin the air will be at 4700 M ! I already feel suffocation while watching this.

They need to wear gloves otherwise it may cause burns of holding the wire...the wire also becomes hot
Thank God
Ancient rusting pulleys? Makes sense.
That closing sentence summed up life for most people 😅
That kid is already schooling now, years ago same person with the kid and his father seen in this documentary again in most dangerous ways to school..
The weakest point is where it’s tied off at the anchor point, it won’t last forever, unfortunately someone will die from a horrific fall.
Hardlife people must have to see this before they complain about life..
Good
Katakot naman lalo na yung bata weew 😰
What a very sad life for all .My heart bleeds for those poor cattles.
I agree, it’s sad.
They are treating the Catteles very bad way God will see everything and punish them 😢😮
