I slowly converted all of my storage to the Iris scrapbook cases. In some I use the plastic photo cases, in others I use the compartment tray inserts. I purchased everything on sale over time at Michaels. Strung beads fit perfectly into the wide, long compartments, and once I cut up a string, the beads go into a reclosable baggie. I store the cases on their ends in a trunk (my trunk holds 30 scrapbook cases), or stacked on my shelves. I can't tell you how pleased I've been with this method. They're durable, and fit a boatload of stuff.
I thought I was the only one that went that crazy over these deals. Girl, you are my kinda shopper! Awesome job! We love Michaels, Joann and the Lobby!!!

Aleshia, the other problem I have found with craft store beads are the holes are not centered. Found that out the hard way so I really inspect the strands before I buy. : )

Alesha, those donut beads do appear larger than the o-beads in the tube. My tub says they are 3.8 x 1 mm. Hope that helps. Thanks for sharing all your goodies!
I'm so glad I watched this video as I am on a very limited income ( like so many others) as you have really enlightened me on the sales emails. It is very true that most times when I go to these three stores things are not on sale and I just settle for something else. Believe me right after I watched the video I subscribed to their emails so now I can be as happy as you are with your haul. I do enjoy your videos so keep them comjng😀.

Cherrytreebeads have some Chinese crystal stands for like $2. I get A LOT of my crystals there because Michaels and Joann can get kinda pricey. Bellomodo has reasonable prices as well. Fusion beads have a ton of sales often too. I love preciosa bicones, they had a sale 50% off recently. Sometimes they have 50% off Swarovski as well, but I still can't afford those lol. The hard part is waiting for your beads to arrive. Hope this helps anyone that may be on a budget or looking for new websites to browse around. Happy beading everyone

I do the same thing. I went to Joanne's, Michael's, and hobby lobby last time because they each had a sale going on and I spent too much. That was a mistake!!! I had to take a few things back to each store. What a mess!! I got messed up and took things back to wrong stores, and of course they couldn't take them. So after several trips I finally got them to the right store, all except one strand. That one no store would claim was theirs. I figure that strand must be destined for something special. Lol. So from now on I will do one sale at a time per day!!! Lol

I just sit and drool every time I see these bead hauls and just dream of what it would be like to run my fingers through piles of gorgeous beads. not sure if anyone mentioned this yet... but i had beads from michaels that when i unsturng them a couple just feel apart... glass beads that were broken... they let me excange them... just an idea for those frustrating chipped beads...

lori yonker I notice they usually don't put Czech on the labels too. Except hobby lobby is now carrying a selection of them. I have found Czech at Michael's that are not labelled as Czech. I can tell they are. I have those torquoise ones she bought from there. I like to use them in wrap bracelets.

the beads you mentioned in this video around minute 12:12 that u mentioned looks like fire polished beads, I bought a strand of those not too long ago, started working with them, only to discover the pretty orange-peach colour's just a coating and it came in no time....very disappointing :(

Regarding checking your beads before you purchase...I also found that some strands have fewer beads than others.

O beads are tiny. Most of them are a 2x4mm with a 1mm or 1.5mm hole. I think they do come slightly bigger, but I'm not sure how much bigger.
